  • peppop - fab hot choccy - i love those mugs

dragon - {{{big hugs}}} I fully understand I nearly fainted at postage costs the other day and half the time they don't even do what you pay them for

LOL at Flourgirl - was thinking exactly the same thing - looks like it's raining here with the constant run of water off the roof.

Was really proud at myself getting my car out and reversed in yesterday then OH came in and shattered my pride by moaning that I was parked too far over and he thought he'd take the front of my car off getting out this morning  - what it is with men 6 inches = 3 feet :rotfl::rotfl:

Really must finish wrapping my santa delivery for the weekend and more cards am fed up with xmas ones now so don't be surprised if you end up with ecards ;)

Off to the opticians now - wonder how long I'll have to wait - he's very thorough but not so great when you're sat waiting :)

Big wet drippy hugs to all :D
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Padster, you can escape, that's brilliant news :T

dragonllew, huge good luck to your OH for the interview today xxx

kms, thank you for the card xxx

flourgirl, I used to work for Santander at head office in Milton Keynes. I started in 2001 when Abbey was still Abbey but they got taken over when I was on maternity leave with DS1 in 2004. I didn't like the Santander ethos and was more than happy to leave the following year when redundancy looked a possibility for me. I was offered another job but Santander had ripped apart our department and there was so much backstabbing and 'looking after number one' going on I told them to stick it ;)

PepPop, large hot chocolate with marshmallows for me please :D Glad you had a good birthday xxx

I too am not going to do Christmas cards for you ladies, I am truly sorry but I haven't got the time to make them and I'd hate to send something carp :( So lets all be MSE for once and not send each other cards but post our festive wishes on here instead. That way we all know we're thinking of each other and nobody has to brave the cold to post anything or be out of pocket ;)

It's DS1's school fair this afternoon so I am leaving soon to help set it up and then running the tombola stall (nice and easy!). Tomorrow is the preschool fair so roll on Sunday ;) I've come down with a stinking cold today, my head feels like it's going to explode :(

    Big hugs to everyone xxx
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain
  • oooh padster you're free at last congrats.

I finally went out today too so hopefully this nasty snow and ice will go away and stay away.

Pep pop Glad your parcel finally got to you and hope you enjoy playing with it .

Choccy my 2 youngest have no idea what they want either so so far all they've got is a bigger tv for their room , some p.j's and slippers but i'm not allowed to say they have slippers as they aren't cool for 19 year old males even if they are simpsons and family guy. lol
I've never done a waterfall card either they look far too complicated for me .

Dragonllew hope all goes well for your oh's interview tomorrow.

It must be something to do with them being 'that' age :rotfl:
Boys have 2 tvs in room :o one to ps3 one too xbox.. Things you do to stop arguements :D

Ive made a waterfall card !! It was easy...... after i watched a you tube tutorial lol. It was a forever friends kit so i figured it would be easy. But the instructions could of been in japaneese for all i understood :rotfl:. So i would say if you want to make one. Get a kit then watch a tutorial ;)

Right im off to have lunch then attempt to get out .. First time in 10 days !!! So i really need too . Even if its just to drive around the block :rotfl:

Still sending stay warm hugs to everyone cause its really cold today ! xx
furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D

I think this is a brilliant idea - I'm struggling to get my friends and family ones done - so if no-one minds I won't be sending cards too.

Rainmac Good luck with your fair. I think you're gonna have to ask Santa for an extra pair of hands - busy lady.

Stay warm everyone - I'm off to catch up on everyone's blogs
  • Afternoon Ladies. Just having a break from my mamouth card making session. I know a few of you use Craftwork Cards Basics range and wondered if anyone else had noticed a decline in quality? I normally use my inks directly onto them and can get away with a shot of glimmer mist, but this morning I've opened 2 new packs and both have warped terribly when I've done it. Then to top it off I layered some paper onto the base using my usual glue and that has bloomin well warped as well. If it was just the one pack I'd understand that maybe I'd got a duff batch, but 2 packs, different sizes is looking like the basics range might just be becoming that :(

Padster - LOL you should know by now that men have a different tape measure to us girls!!

Dragonlew - sending you massive hugs hun

    Rainmac
    - Good luck at the fair

Flourgirl - it was them that deposited £500 of our money into someone else's account. We had a massive job getting them to acknowledge that as they were at fault we should at the very least be compensated for the inconvience and missed direct debits, not to mention the fact that it then took them over a month to transfer the funds back into our account! Had to take it through the formal routes in the end. Not a good company to deal with I'm afraid.

Peppop - yummy, I take it that is diet hot choocy and mallows, if so then yes please :)

Right that's my break over with, back to the paper factory. Take care all. x
