Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Its totally tropical here today we are above freezing (3*) :j:j Wafting some warm air your way Padster. Washing is on but don't think I can peg it out cos the snow is till half way up the clothes prop :rotfl:

I did go back to bed at 6.30 until DH woke me up at 8.45 with a cuppa

Woo hoo the postie has just been with my Craftworks cards order of goody bags, DH paid so they are going to be sent to santa.

The saga of the bank cards goes on and on.... so DH has written a stinking letter of complaint to head office and yesterday in IKEA he went to pay for lunch and his card was declined :eek: when we got home he rang them to find out why and they had cancelled it without telling him :mad::mad: Now he has to wait until they can issue a new card, then we have to go back into the bank in town and sort mine out, only trouble is when we went on Monday they told us the only way to sort it out is to lie to the Police that we have had them stolen because its the only way to get the cards changed!!!!:mad: This has now been going on since the beginning of October!! Sorry rant over

It's quite sunny here, I've got a million things to print to get ready for the preschool fair on Saturday so I best get on with it...after a cuppa... x

My 1st post on this forum. I would love to print my own cards, with different designs etc.Can anybody recommend a programme etc, to use on my laptop, to create cards. Bit vague i know, but im fairly new to cardmaking.

Hello I'm back!!! What a nightmare with this bl**dy snow!!!

Craftygranny A HUGE Thankyou for your parcel - I managed to get it yesterday, thank goodness. WOW it is fabulous and I started playing with it last night.

Thanks for all the lovely birthday wishes too. I spent the day snuggled on the couch with hot soup, two cats and Christmas films on the TV. OH made me a lovely dinner and walked to the shops to buy me a cake AWWW.

I'm off to catch up properly now - not been on since Friday :eek:

OMG Flourgirl! What a fiasco! Hope you get it resolved very soon & good on DH for writing a letter to H. O. It seems to me with Banks that once a bit goes wrong the rest follows it and they are almost incapable of sorting it out. We had fun & games a couple of years ago they ignored my letters of complaint for ages but I eventually got an apology and quite a yummy hamper but would rather have not had the hassle in the first place.

flourgirl Hope you get your bank cards sorted - especially at this time of year.

Can someone please take this snow away, we had -18 yesterday with a high of -7. I think it's to go above 0 today but I don't believe them. This is the first day I've been back at work since last Friday. I'm so glad I had Monday as a holiday cos people were stuck on the M8 from Monday morning right through to Tuesday - now that would have been a great way to spend my birthday :eek:
