hanks for all your messages of congratulations - it was a bit of a shock!!! We went for the first scan a few weeks ago so we're just waiting for the second now to see if we're having another boy or a girl. Mind you I'm not sure I'd know what to do if we had a girl I'm so used to dealing with boys.

ScattyJan - gorgeous ATC - I love how you've added beading around the butterfly. Your card is lovely too - love the glittered wings!!! I'm sure I've seen a challenge somewhere for an orange/black card - I'll let you know if I find it!!!

Artydoll - fab ATC - I love the colour combination that you've used!

Curly07 - hi and welcome to the thread!!

Mary - belated happy birthday wishes for yesterday - I hope you had a great day!!!

Rainmac - I hope your Mum recovers from her op soon!!!!

Flying_fresian - Congrats on your win!!! Your cards are lovely - that owl backing paper is fab, and I love the bee image!!!

KMS - hope you have a nice time with your Mum.

KarenCooke - your butterfly box is stunning!!!! I used to do quilling but I haven't tried it in years!!! Your xmas cards are lovely too - you are organised!!!!

Peechy - welcome to the thread!!!

Jellybaby21 - there's some great cards on your blog - I'm now a follower!! My favourite is your fairy one - I'm a sucker for fairies!!!!

Lei-Armstrong - welcome back - glad to hear you had a good time!!! I think I could do with a holiday!!!

    Afternoon all!

I haven't done any cardmaking for a few days, but tonight I plan to watch some X Factor :o and get some cards made!

I have decided to set the new challenge as....

    Festive Fun

which I thought was nice and open for as many people as possible to take part in. I know that a lot of us will be making our Christmas cards at the moment, so hopefully this will tie in well.

This challenge will end on Sunday 17th October at 9am.

Please PM me once you have entered and send me a wee link to your card, as I'm away next week and might miss anything posted on here.

    Thanks!

Carry on with the cards...........one day I just might catch up................lol:rotfl:

I've just finished updating my blog so that all the challenge blog competitions are now up to date - I had better start making something so that I can enter some.

ScattyJan - here's the link to the orange/ black challenge:

    Mary - you're not alone - I take ages to make a card - I'm afraid I'm a bit of a faffer!!!

Flying_Fresian - I'm looking forward to X factor tonight - I wonder who'll go through - I think we find out tomorrow!! Fab idea for a challenge - I'll try and make something although my inspiration seems to have completely deserted me at the minute!!!
