Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Morning ladies -it's so lovely to see this board so busy and stil so flipping friendly!
I had an awesome day at the Artisan Show yesterday. It is teeny in comparison to th NEC, but there was enough of what I like to make it sooo worth my while! It's a god jo I'm not into jewellery because the bead stalls were just unbelieveable - luckily I didn't know where to start otherrwise I'd have been tempted!
I did 2 workshops, one on distressing techniques and 1 which was really fun to use a few techniques to make some charms for a bracelet. I think the best bit was being able to really talk to the stall holders and get some fantastic tips I also had the Dimension Fourth lady looking for an incredibly specifc stap for me - and she founf one which was perfect! I was most impressed by Inkylicious and a brilliant technique for backgrounds using what looked like shaving brushes to blend inks - I am now stocked up! It kind of made my blending lessons for distressing a bit redundant but if it works I shall be so thrilled. It was a really lovely relaxing day and I will certainly be going next year. I was talking to the lady from the ALtered Element shop - and she remembered an email I'd sent her about something so I was very impressed. I also subscirbed to Craft Stamper and got an awesome £30 set of PaperArtsy stamps which I really like.
WIll try and blog stash later - better go and make a giant shepherds pie for lunch while the boys are swimming!0 -

Just thought I'd tell you all about my recent purchase - my photos are usually carp and I've always admired those who have easels to display their cards. In connection with something else, I saw some plate stands on ebay from seller 'chinalite' I ordered them on Friday, they came yesterday & work really well for very little money. I got pale blue ones.0 -
