Meant to say - they've got free delivery until the end of the year too. So that works out even cheaper :money: You use code PROM1110 at the checkout.0

Flying visit from me tonight, just finished work.
Skiergirl - so sorry to hear your bad news
Gemm - congratualtions
The Wife - the only thing I would say about the Epson is make sure you use original cartridges. I bought Tesco own last time and the ink isn't water resistant, so I can't water colour as it bleeds terribly (well actually I can't even use stickles or glossy accents unless I apply them really sparingly. Oh and I've put 300sgm thru the printer and I think someone else on here posted they'd done it too. Sorry about your computer - the samething happened to me a few months back, I now religiously back up.
KMS - well done
Carol - hello and welcome
Craftygranny - it sounds like we're having the same problem with blogger! It took me 45 minutes to upload my photos to my blog this morning and I'm trying to upload your ear trust one to my side bar and it's just showing loading (been 15 minutes so far).
Congrats to all our winners
I think that's everyone, but typing from memory so if I've missed you apologies. x0 -
Skiergirl I'm so sorry to hear your news. Please accept my condolences. Hugs to you and your family.
Caroln Waving from Glasgow too and yep the rain was ugh! (especially when you go to Tesco without a jacket and get caught in it)
Craftygranny Can I have a cup of coffee please and I'll send you some rhubarb crumble and fresh cream.
Wifey I don't suppose you've still got your stuff on the memory card of your camera - or am I stating the obvious?
Off for a wander round blogland - catch you later.
PepPop, you're not stating the obvious at all but I did set my system up to delete the memory card after downloading the piccies but I've only lost a few.
Lesson learnt, wifey!
Thanks for the info,WBR, I've got some real thick card from the Papermill shop so I will give that a try and see what this printer can really do. Thanks for the tip on the inks, I'll check out Amazon or have you got a fave supplier? Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -

Aww pity - I had a wee glimmer of hope that they might still be there.
Well remembered WBR - I used compatible ink and it wrecked my printer and I had to take it back to Mr T's and told a little white lie and they replaced it (bad PepPop) - it gummed up the jet and wouldn't work no matter what I tried.0 -
Another daft question from me, do the cartridges last a while? Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

Speaking of printers, which ones are good to get? I would love a wireless one and it's my birthday coming up so thinking about asking for a printer for a birthday present.
Ideally I would like one that has cheapish cartridges and it obviously has to be good at printing on card
I haven't made a card in daysI have pretended to declutter tonight by reading craft magazines - I'm cutting out projects I like and keeping them in an inspiration file rather than having magazines lying around all over the place.

Wifey Yeah they last quite a while - I've only had to buy one set so far and I've not changed them all yet so some of mine are sample ones they supply with it. If I'm not using it for craft stuff OH is printing music scores on it so it does get a fair bit of use.
flying-fresian The one we're all talking about it an Epson SW515 it's a multifunction wireless inkjet top loader but I know a few of the girls use Canons.0 -
My new dining room table and chairs are coming today - yay :j So, day at home for me and the monkeys, I've got a pile of ironing the size of a mountain to get through and need to sort my swap card and atc.
Have a good day everyone x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Skiergirl Sorry to hear your sad news, thinking of you and your family
Gemma Congratulations on your new job
OH step dad has had a heart attack and had a pace maker fitted last night, just waiting to hear that everything is ok.
Made my Mum a few bits for her birthday yesterday, tried to update my blog but it's not playing so will try again tomorrow0 -
Hope everyones well.
I read the thread and then promptly forgot most of it!
Wanna be - I didnt know that about the epson and getting the real cartridges. I have brought one refill, so will use that and see how it goes and probably revert back to the real ones after.
Madfrog - Hope your OH's step dad's pace maker is ok.
Wifey - The cartridges last for quite a while. I'm still on the ones that came with the printer and we do use it quite alot.
Flying-Fresian - The epson cartridges are cheaper than the canon ones. We had a canon before we got the epson and I found the cartridges very expensive even though the printer was cheap. The Epson SX515W has been great so far. We always used to have epson printers and always found them very reliable.
Blogger is still playing up for me too. Did get alot of commenting done yesterday though.
'Just discovered that the Range Shop is opening in stevenage near me soon. So excited! I've heard so much about it!
