The new printer on the block worked well again last night, OH was chuffed to bites to be able to print from his lappy downstairs and have it print out upstairs on the new 'un. Mind you I did pass a warning on to let me know when it's coming, I don't want him printing on to decent card.

What's the heaviest card anyones put through?

Liza hows the SU going for you? Are you enjoying it? The new catty is fab and I've just bought the 'Elegant Soiree' papers, they look lush.

Gemm, that sounds like the perfect job for you and to be able to get home from lunch too! Super!

Wifey - sorry I snipped you. WBR said it'll take 300gsm so that's pretty thick

Congrats Gemm, hope the new job works out for you. How lovely to be so near home!

Welcome back Skiergirl and welcome to the thread Carolnmalky.

Wifey Glad you're liking the new printer. I haven't used mine much yet. Let me know how you get on if you use heavy card, I don't want to waste my gorgeous snow white pearl card if it gets stuck so I'll let you experiment first :D.

PepPop A 12 minute quick wash . I've just taken two brand new sheets round to d-i-l and asked her to do a quick wash just to get the dressing out. An hour later and they're still washing! I'm desperate to get them out on the line as they're flannelette and I can't tumble dry them or they'll shrink and today is the only nice day we're having this week apparently! I'm sure I'll be just as excited as you when my new washing machine arrives, can't wait!

We've just been on the beach with Poppy. There's MotoX on the beach this weekend and it's all being dug up and a course made so not much room for little doggies to run around what with all the diggers and mounds of sand everywhere.

I've managed to put a card you know where this morning and found a few challenges for it. It seems ages since I did a challenge. I've got another one ready to go on so I'm off to try and do that now.

Hope you're all having nice weather today.

Lovely day here too alothough still quite cold

I went to slimming club last night and lost 2lb, very happy with that :j Almost to my stone! And won't be long before i drop a dress size as i am at that 'in between' stage where 1 size is too big but the smaller size is still alittle tight

Gemm - i have a card on my you know what that i would like to enter into your challenge please (the Penny Black Snowman) Oh and well done on the job :T

PepPop - I would get excited over your washing machine too, my quickest wash is 30 mins but it comes out soaking, so needs a spin which is 12 mins so 42 mins in total! And with 3 kids sometimes a 12 minute wash would be great!

The Wife - your printer sounds great, i have an epson too although it is quite old now

To all of you who i said yesterday i had sent you something, i forgot to put a note in to tell you it was from me

I have updated my you know what;)

Thanks Gemm, I had forgotten :o. I'm glad you're all toasty warm again, nothing like a central heating problem just as winter starts!

Well done KMS on your further weight loss.

Congrats on your weight loss KMS :T:T To be honest I couldn't believe it until I put a 12 minute one on last night to make sure it wasn't telling me lies :) I just keep thinking of sunny days next summer and whizzing through it all in a hour or so!! :j

Don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I ordered Elegant Soiree 3 weeks ago and they're still on back order :(
