Evening all  I am sitting here drained...went to the Craft Fayre at the Secc today, boy was it busy. Lots of bargains and good ideas there! Would be better if people didn't take suitcases though:wall:

That's terrible Craftygranny, good on you for reporting them, the next victim they picked may not have been as brave as you!!! Glad you are ok :grouphug:

Hope everyone else is well tonight xx

aww hugs to craftygranny, it's not you being miserable I'd have complained too. I hate walking past groups of youths, even small ones, it makes me feel so intimidated, it's a shame really as I'm sure most of them are perfectly nice, it's just the reputation they have got from doing stuff like you have described, it tars them all with the same brush imo.

so sorry to hear of your loss skiergirl
crafty granny what an awful experience!
  • well twice in one day, i hope you are all sat down!!! dh is in the kitchen making samosas so i'm using the time wisely!

glad the 1st day went well gem, i hate new things, i don't think i'll ever leave my job, it takes too much effort!!! :)

i have bought loads of sticky ribbon to make magnet pegs, but i wondered if you could just use normal ribbon and the red DST. i think it'll be easier with sticky ribbon, but cheaper with normal ribbon. i have been on poor neglected Raymond ( my new name for my you know where). i could have entered my cards into so many challenges but didn't. but gem could i enter it into the glitter one please ( i mean the white card).
i'm hoping to post my craftyplace card and stash off on saturday. sorry it's taken so long, we have had guests every weekend, and then painting during the week.

so i have a card for padster and stash for dragonllew, do i owe anybody else anything? i don't think so but i never quite trust myself!

Thankyou Rainmac xx Did you have a nice dinner tonight sat at your new table or did you eat from trays and just sit looking at it lol

We have had Willow for 2 days, so we went to ASDA this morning for a new Halloween Costume, she is having a party on Sunday. We have been crafting this afternoon and she has made a countdown calendar ready for December, I will post a picture tomorrow to show you . Its brilliant, a bit rough round the edges but she wanted to do it by herself, all I could do was stick the peel off letters on as they were too fiddly. Just been in my craft room and it looks like a bombs dropped!! I thought I could make a mess but she beats me hands down!!

    Craftygranny how awful for you.
  • Craftygranny - Apart from the youths being very intimidating they are clearly thick as well as the tradition is 'penny for the guy'!!!!! I am glad you reported it to the PCSO though, good for you.
I am having a small operation tomorrow - I am rather nervous as I have never had a general anaesthetic before. I am hoping to do some crafting whilst I am recovering, or plead sympathy to my boyfriend to buy me some more promarkers!!!

Big hugs to Skiergirl for your loss and hugs to everyone else xxxxx
Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!

CT 1972 Look out for the postie:) You are not allowed on my home page:D till he has been as its your swap card that I have posted for Gems challenge
Craftygranny well done you I am not sure I could have handled the "nice kids" as well as you did
Wifey B*m about your pictures. I have done the same sort of thing I had some on a DTI flash key thingamybob and after I changed my whole computer system the new one just wont open anything I had stored on it . All the old photos I had got together from other people over about a 3 year period are locked away on a piece of IT that means nothing to me, one of these days I must become computer literate:rotfl:
Jellybaby fingers crossed for you tomorrow
:Tand welcome to our newbies and hugs to anyone who needs them
