I did an MS visit to a phone shop last week and was so impressed I returned yesterday to purchase the phone I had been shown. The Staff Member was really helpful (not the same one who I had seen earlier in the week) They offered to set my new phone up for me and I agreed. They asked "Do you mind if I access your contact list, so I can move your numbers over?" Great, I thought...I am pleased with all the help I can get as I am a techno phobe!
Well....the look on his face said it all....there were all my MS numbers scrolling down the screen! I certainly received direct eye contact, a nervous smile...and a truly personal service...even the manager was brought in to help!!0 -
I wasn't expecting to like the clothes so much, I'm still fancying the PJ bottoms...
I agree.. I have now purchased a few gifts from there!!
You know I will say this for MS.. as someone who isn't from the country I had NO clue where to shop or go to get stuff... MS has brought me into different stores that I wouldn't have even gone into before or given a second look. That whole judging a book by its cover thing...
So now I do know a good kitchen supply store, some good wee shops and im better for it... I also find that now in conversation with my friends from here im able to interject more about different shops!0 -
Just come back from a nice meal and another assignment but have not been able to do an RE job. I basically spent 28 minutes in the shop but there were only 3 members of staff (2 on the till, 1 on the shop floor) with approximately 40+ customers in the department downstairs and 1 member of staff for approximately 15 customers upstairs. The only guy on the shop floor was really stretched so did not manage to grab him.
I have decided that 28 minutes of waiting for someone to become available was enough and so did not manage to complete the scenario. Would RE give me something towards my time in the shop? I have a feeling they'll ask me to re-shop and my time for the first attempt has just been wasted.0 -

Contact them and see what they say. I tried doing a station shop visit this week which was closed. I emailed the contact (who didn't bother replying because she had so many emails to read, she said to me on the phone "I read yours first thing in the morning", so why didn't she bloody reply? Me calling her would only have made for work for her !) and I was told I would get the fee for the visit but it would not have to be re-shopped. I'm still waiting on the fee, so will have to contact them again tomorrow. See whose name it says on the contact section of the assignment notes and send them an email now. If they don't reply, call them tomorrow. ** I'm glad I don't have to ms RE staff, other than 1 dude who is super helpful, the rest of them would get a 2 out of 10! **
For anyone who has picked up a TNS speedy supermarket, check the times for this visit as all mine are early evening ones only. I was planning on getting them done in the morning. EEEEK!0 -

Just a random thought. I heard on the news about two travel companies merging.
What happens if they both use seperate ms companies?
I would assume they would want it changed to one with the same brief to make it fair.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

One uses a decent company another uses a pack of crooks. I'm hoping at least for the time being they'll continue to run each brand independently and hopefully settle on the decent company for the MS contract but we'll see.
This industry's always changing with clients merging, closing down, switching providers etc.0 -
