I notice that there are a lot of "garage" jobs still showing on ABAI, however I have worked out that the time you pay for the meal deal and drink you would profit after petrol costs about £2.00. Hardly seems worth it, especially since they are not the type of sandwiches etc I would buy anyway and the hot drink is nudging £2.00!

However am I missing something which would make these worthwhile doing?

There are loads, aren't there? Personally I would pick one of these up if I'm passing by as the petrol is an incentive. I'm travelling this weekend and I've got my eye on one I'll book if it's still there tomorrow.

On my one there is no petrol spend which probably explains why they are still sitting there!
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

Procure yourself a balaclava and a weapon (preferably a firearm). Don the Balaclava and secrete the weapon on your person and write down your demands on a bit of paper before handing it to a cashier.

remember not to write your demands on an old enveloped addressed to yourself.

    Also :
Don't ask them to transfer funds into your bank account as you can't carry too much as you've forgotten the "swag" bag.

I think the main reason they are still sitting there is the 6 - 9am time frame. Can't get the car dug out of the snow by 9.00am !

These are Ok if you are passing, and need lunch!

My "local" petrol jobs incl competitor visits which were across the other side of the city! Would take 45 mins to drive between them so not really easy to do.

Does anybody find that they can't help themselves applying for jobs even though you know it would be madness? I can see loads of jobs going at Thurrock Lakeside for Saturday however I am controlling myself because I know that you cannot get near Lakeside easily at the weekends and it would be a complete nightmare, so I am strapping my arms behind my back so I can not press the accept button!!!! I still have not done my own Christmas shopping and am at work all next week!

Must start a Mantra "don't be mad you will only regret it!"

Ah I see, haven't seen any like that in my area but definitely doesn't sound like they're worth doing!

My boyfriend thinks msing takes over my life. He may be right. I applied some self control and saw a job i 'could' do but i have so much work to do i left it (although had it not been one where you are banned for a year from the entire chain after doing one, i don't think i would have been that well behaved)
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

I'm actually doing pretty well out of picking up dropped jobs - I can walk into the city centre. But I'm busy dropping/ re-scheduling anything I can't walk to.
