Do they not understand that such a ridiculous message only works once and then is totally ignored?
GR did that to me today! I was already stressed as the jobs I did today didn't go to plan. I was driving when the phone rang so I couldn't answer it. Had a message saying please ring GR urgently but no phone number was left and I didn't have it with me. Was in an iffy 3G area and it took ages to find their number on the internet, and then when I rang up he said "oh there was a store in your area but I've allocated it to someone else now." Thanks for wasting my time!
Been doing merchandising for a new PC game release. Should have had FSDU's delivered to my home on Friday, to be put out in stores on Monday ready for the game release yesterday.
Didn't get the FSDU's until late yesterday afternoon, and then only half of them were delivered. Went out this morning to site those. Roads were a nightmare with icy patches, and traffic jams caused by abandoned cars and minor accidents. I also got stuck in one uncleared car park and had to dig my car out.
None of the stores I went to actually sell PC games. They all said they had two copies of the game which sold out when the store opened and they are not getting any more in.
What a complete waste of time
Rest of them arrived this afternoon, so I expect I'll be wasting more time in the morning. What fun! Here I go again on my own....0 -
OMG! Has anyone done a sports health shop? It says in the brief will give you the xx reimbursement for the item purchased and xx reimbursement for the membership card. Cows have only given me the reimbursement for the item and not the membership card. Not impressed! Errr. I'll be on the blower to them tomorrow...!!!0

Still snowed in! 14 days tomorrow!!!
Phoned the local councillor today who is promising to help.
Now I have so many jobs postponed I'll be working Christmas Eve (or be taken away with a nervous breakdown!)0 -
Anyone having problems with Webexpress tonight? i can't upload my report and there's an error message. Jeeze. :mad:0

You know what makes me laugh? ESA calling saying can you do frozen shop.... Maybe why? The one in your home town is needing doing....
.
Dont worry jen, I'll only do it if they double the fee.;)
I had a message left for me from ESA and I guess it was for this shop. Did it only about 4 months ago, so I should be barred but it looks like they're struggling to cover it. As they do in this area. So where's all their people that will do it for less? Be at least a 60 mile round trip IF they can get someone from Edinburgh who's willing to come that far for one job.
Got a night out with the Braw Lads tomorrow. That'll be fun. I think beer freezes in your stomach at -15. :rotfl:
But if I fall over I can blame it on the 3 inches of ice on the pavement.0 -

Much empathy. I'm getting so bored. Went out the day before yesterday and fell over (fortunately not into the canal) in front of loads of kids and mums.
Car is completely iced in, no chance of getting it off the drive.0 -

Ummm The braw lads awesome! Yeah i should be barred too! but the guy was rude... im glad none of you are doing it... Someone will but that someone won't be me. Sad thing is they will pay someone from Edinburgh to come down 60 miles round trip and pay for it... Im just asking for a fair chunk!boyoboy1986 wrote: »Jen

I was asked to the Gala one and I'm in Hamilton. I was in the Borders for a fortnight on holiday during the summer and done 2 visits for them. He offered to check if he could up the fee and didn't seem too impressed when I told him that I was no where near the shop and that I wasn't popping down anytime soon even if there was an additional fee. He wasn't impressed at all.0
