There's a mobile phone shop that employs a great actor in my home town. I know this because he dealt with me on an MS a few weeks ago - 4 at most. And yesterday he made no mention of this, not a flicker of recognition. But did make doubley sure to fulfil everything he was supposed to.

Making us do rotations is all well and good. But this is a new store and he's obviously moved branches. There is a part of me that thinks I should 'fess up to the MS co, but I did nothing wrong, why shouldn't I get paid for my time?

Don't they say that if you think you have been recognised as an MS to abandon the assignment immediately and contact the Co.? But what the hey, its Christmas soon, he might get a bonus and if you fess up, there goes your fee!

I used to cover about 11 stores on relief as my main job years ago -for both audits and MS's I just did what your phone guy did if I was the one approached or free . It *is* a natural scenario for companies who move staff about-and they can see from the reports that it has happened so if they don't want it are always free to tell the agencies so

What I was saying was that he didn't give a flicker of recognising me as an MSer. But I recognised him, so how could he not recognise me? And yes, why shouldn't I get my fee? Not my fault they moved staff around. My time is valuable.
  • TNS Vans - Am I right in thinking that you can select the dealership yourself as long as it sells that model and is within the given area?

Who's to say you were recognised? How many people must one person see in a place like that every week? Unless you were dressed identically theres a fair chance that he didn't even realise you're the same person.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

 Darn poppy sellers outside EVERY egg shop!

As if it's not hard enough to be conspicuous in poking a hole in a milk carton and juice carton and taking heaps of photographs!!!
