Have you ever had a MS that the sales person has been so good that you actually wanted to keep the goods? I had one yesterday where the assistant spent over an hour with me. It was like having my own personnal trainer :) I came out of the store conviced that I was going to keep the trainers (nearly £100 ) However the rain came on and it was absolutely freezing so sanity ruled and I sent them back :D

was this for react and was it one where you havet he option of going on a tredmill?

I kept my trainers they were awesome.

Oooooh, exciting stuff today. Have finally done my first Egg Job!!! :D

However, I may well have fluffed it up. Silly me spent all of 3p over the maximum spend. Tsk. :o
From anyone's experience, is this likely to be a problem??

You will still be apid - just up to the limit stipulated. I look on it as a discount on my shopping so will always pick up the bits and pieces I need.

Radarman - yup lol! Last year there were some posh dress shops that a few of us did, went in fell in love with the dress and spent £40 upwards for a fee a lot less than that :rotfl:I recently did a tv job though and the salesman was brilliant - made me realise that I needed to wait until the technologyu got better before I need to upgrade :T

After a few coffin shops I'm finding myself thinking that as a single paarent how useful it would be to prepay my funeral so my son wouldn't have the hassle !! Heck it's even MSE as it fixes the price. I worry myself sometimes ..............

May I just ask a quick question. I've just started Mystery shopping and want to do some accounts. Obviously there is the fee. What do I do about the things I've bought as part of the assignement, do I include those as part of the fee or ignore them, I guess I take the petrol off the fee but am not sure about the Reibursements.
    Thanks in anticipation

Fee + reimbursement is your income.
Anything you buy is an allowable expense.
Any expense incurred wholly through MSing is an allowable expense (petrol to 40p/m, printing, proportion of Internet etc.)

    Hope that helps :D

Me too!! In fact I was wondering about passing the brochure onto FIL as we were all suprised at the price of a funeral  Every time I am assured that I can plan it all and pay it over several years, not bad considering they go up by about £250-£300 a year ............

At least I am not the only one :rotfl:
