  • And today's "stating the obvious" award goes to Gap for their tips, one of which is: "You must complete each part of the assignment correctly" ...
  • Morning. Just got back from 2 fast supermarket jobs and one was an absolute mare. Having a quandary as whether to comment on some petulant behaviour by a staff member. Reason I ask is that you are not directly asked in brief to observe staff on the shop floor (apart from tidiness etc) and they weren't interacting with a customer at the time. But this behaviour involved vocal aggression and throwing several packs of meat at the fridge  - they were having a strop at being called to the till. Same staff member then served me at till and was very indifferent.

What would others do?? Not experienced anything like this before!

Other shop was complete opposite - lovely staff, tidy store and great service......:)

If I remember there is a section "The staff were great" or similar where you can comment, you could comment there?

There is a section with "Did the staff do anything that really impressed you?" - not really sure how I could put it in there, unless I say "I was impressed by the force with which 3 packs of steaks were propelled at the chiller cabinet by a frustrated staff member"
    :D

If there is an overall comments box at the end, I guess something about this should go in there...

I'm sure these ones have the overall comments box, so I would go for it there as then it's their choice whether they choose to take notice of it, or disregard it as something which they aren't interested in as they didn't ask you to specifically comment on.
    Definitely sounds worth mentioning though!

Folks, do you think we should be wary of working for Bare? I know peeps have not been paid for certain types of jobs but can anybody confirm any recent payments?

I think that most people are complaining about payments re: The testing centres. I haven't done any via BARE, but I 'tried' to do one a couple of years ago when they were handled by Kern Scheduling:- They were chaotic then, think its the client or secondary agency (if BARE are allocating on behalf of another company as was the case with Kern) rather than BARE themselves.
  • Just released a December eating visit for a new restaurant in Glasgow on the secret eating place. I don't know the area and can't cope with the traffic near Xmas!!
There's a couple still in Inverness to be picked up too.
