Mimi- You handle the bag touch the leather... ask about what if it rains... look inside as your Mrs. likes a BIG purse.. with some pockets.

Sorted. You're a start Jen. I think that will work. Hopefully it will. Thanks again duck. You're the bestest :-)
  • RE have an assignment in my area for an electrical enquiry at a major supermarket. The client is the brand, not the shop. You have to make a purchase of say £8.50 (not the actual amount, just an example). Then you get a tiny fee on top. Do you think they'd know if I took it back for a refund? There's no mention of it in the briefing notes.

If its the one I have just done (choice of two senarios) then it actually does say (buried deep in the briefing notes 'Don't take it back!!') and they will know if you do take it back because when you actually get round to filling in all of the silly paperwork they ask you to enter the receipt number. I suspect that's so the shop can track back what you actually purchased and refund the money to RE.

I was going to take it back 3 weeks later. I wonder if I should try?
  • Mimi, are you a bloke?! I always thought you were female, going by your Avatar and dance quote.

I knew Mimi was a bloke as he used to be on the Boots thread giving us all the glitches & bargains of the day.

How you doing duck? I think they should let us have our Booth thread back!
  • Or you could always go in and so that the bag is for yourself. Then if they treat you funny you can say that the staff were not very openminded for your negative comment.

I'm quite tempted to apply for the one in my town myself now and camp it up for the day, I could be doing with cheering up as when I got made redundant 2 years ago I decided to go back to uni and it's dissertation time - i'm stressed lol! I will need to practice my 'I'm a lady' routine though.

You still getting any bargains? They had this delish Lancome one a few weeks go. The lovely Melgirl told me about it. It's a shame they don't let us have it back! It was well cool.

I can't stand Mariah, I don't even know why I chose the username. LOL.
  • Lol its RE you need to be more specific, there are many shades of purple was it lilac, indigo, violet?? 'Purple fringe' is far too vague :p

Seriously, I think the proofreaders just do it as a wind up sometimes to be honest!

I'm beginning to think there's some kind of bonus system based on queries...

Something like proofreading report is £5 plus 50p for each question asked :rotfl:

I really have no idea though but they seem to clarify things that a trained monkey couldn't fail to understand!!
