I fell for one of GAP's attractive premiums once - offered over the phone, but never added online. I did complete the visit at the time, but if it happens again, I'll simply cancel the visit online.0

IMHO, it's just not worth taking up the supermarket visits unless you are going to shop there anyway - it's just too much time and hassle :mad:0 -

Once you have done a couple of them and are a bit more used to them, they are actually really not difficult or even as time consiming as the first one you do, which looks a bit daunting.
The first one I did, I also ended up with quite a lot of notes with me jotted down in a notebook with a 'shopping list' on the open page.
But now I'm used to them, I don't have half as many notes, my shopping list is a list of the bits I actually want to buy, and then anything I have to checck whether it's in stock or good enough to buy, and a quick reminder of where I have to ask questions, which I write the name next to it, and my scribbles as to whether they smiled, made eye contact etc. This is super quick and easy to do as well though. For me, next to the name I would write 'i' if they made eye contact, TY if they said thank you, 'else' is they askedd if there was anything else I needed etc, depending on what the questionnaire asks. Again though, this is one of those things that by now I know what I have to check for, so all criteria don't need to be written down.
Definitely agree with doing them in the evening though!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
:j:j:j I was thinking this morning, I really want to do an egg job!! Mostly because they have beeen talked about lots on here, and people seem to pick up 20 jobs at a time, and I have seen soooooooo many of them on the site but none local enough to me at the moment that I can pick up.
And finally, the 4 of the shops there are in my town appeared and I was able to snap them up. :j:j
I may not be so :j about them after I've done them, particularly as the photograph malarky doesn't seem to be very popular with you guys, but at least I can say I've done an egg job, and will therefore feel like an old hand at MSing!!
Have entered the wrong date for one though and I really won't be able to squeeze it in next Saturday when I said I'd do it, and actually meant to do it tomorrow.
What is the best way to contact ESA and get this changed?
Also, how long do people find it takes to do the egg jobs? The questionnaire looks nice and straightforward so not worried about having an extra couple of those to do tomorrow evening on top of all the others I've got lined up, but I'm just trying to work out the best order to do everything tomorrow :cool:Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
I thought about doing an egg job too but then I saw there are 106 questions!0

But looking at the actual questions, it is pretty straightforward and lots of Yes/No answers, and for the most part a comment is only required if you're giving a negative response, which is fair enough.
Looks like it will be much quicker to do than an RE report which wants a long winded, anal comment for everything!
And I didn't pick the wrong day for my egg job after all, because they don't start till Wednesday so that must be why I did it for next Sat not tomorrow! I'm glad I'm better at rememebering interactions I have in shops than I am at remembering my own though processes within a matter of minutes!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Anyone else having trouble self allocating the eggs today? The system says I'm not allowed the jobs (and I tried about 12 different shops that I KNOW I have NEVER done before so its not the 6 month rule). I phoned them up and they allocated the ones I wanted to me manually but didn't know why I couldn't do it myself, Then, when I was out, they phoned and told my Husband I shouldn't have been given the jobs as their records show I don't have a digital camera!!! He told them I have had one for donkeys years, they hav now changed their recors and now I can self allocate again.
I certainly didn't have any self allocation problems before this Client asked for photos so I'm wondering if they have an extra filter on these jobs.ELITE 5:2

I had to ring about local egg jobs. Turns out I couldn't do them cos I had visited that store for a 'second class' job previously and even though I didn't interact with the store itself, I am out for 6 months just cos I'd been in there! Hope you get my drift. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Hello everyone I enjoy reading all threads about mystery shopping and I have now joined a view (GR, RE and GFK) however they are very few shops (2 from all the companies in the past month) in the Glasgow area. Does anyone know of a mystery shopping company that has some more shops in Scotland?
