  • I had to ring about local egg jobs. Turns out I couldn't do them cos I had visited that store for a 'second class' job previously and even though I didn't interact with the store itself, I am out for 6 months just cos I'd been in there! Hope you get my drift.

I had that as well. Flipping stupid if your ask me as were assessing two totally seperate companies:mad:
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

I fell for one of GAP's attractive premiums once - offered over the phone, but never added online. I did complete the visit at the time, but if it happens again, I'll simply cancel the visit online.

If I accept a premium burger I ask them to send email confirmation of the fee before I set out. They are happy to do this and you have proof too.

Hello everyone I enjoy reading all threads about mystery shopping and I have now joined a view (GR, RE and GFK) however they are very few shops (2 from all the companies in the past month) in the Glasgow area. Does anyone know of a mystery shopping company that has some more shops in Scotland? :)

All the ones you quoted do Glasgow. Work gets releasd in waves and it's usually fastest finger first. Either it's between waves or other people have already grabbed the jobs. RE only lets you see certain jobs until you've passed your probation ( do one visit and get it passed ok).

There's only burger jobs showing in my area just now but I was busy last week and have a few jobs for next week. Waiting for some more to be released.

I think I will do that too. I just assumed  (wrongly) that the girl at the other end would do her job properly.

    Happy ending:
Did both jobs and true to the guy at GAP UK my fee did increase to triple the usual on both of them.

    :T:T

Before you all go ringing :eek:He did say that they do not deal with shoppers. He just sent an internal email with the details to (?).
  • Has anyone else seen the fee that TNS is offering for a full credit card application??? They even have the gall to say that you can cancel the credit card afterwards if you don't want to keep it.

These guys need to get a grip: I would be asking for at least four times what they are offering, and even then I would only do the job as a genuine customer (i.e. actually wanting that particular card and intending to keep it).

    Help !
I've got my first gyp chicken tonight - its a take out. Does anyone know if I need to check the toilets - its says I do in the training but can't see it on the questionaire. Also, if I do, is it ok to check them before ordering as I really don't want to take the food to the loo with me !
    Thanks

From memory I think you are supposed to. Check them before you order as you were obviously going to clean your hands ;)

EGGS are not as complex to do as they seem. Most of the shops are tiny and half the items you are looking for are not there. Most don't have toilets either. I did another one today. Stuck out like a sore thumb when I went for my refund. 4 SA's came over and checked if I was OK. !!!!!!!

Has anyone done any visits for Amber Arch? The reports are stupid. Halfway through the toilet cleanliness section it asks if I found an attendant in the car park and then carries on with the toilet question. Was I supposed to find a car park attendant in the toilet?
