Hi All.
My first post,
I saw this on HDUK and I thought it was too good to be true... sadly... I ordered and spent - Total: £423.53...
Paid via the credit card and all money been taken, my order is still:
Order: ****** (Awaiting Verification)
Date Ordered Wednesday 29 September, 2010
no contact, nothing... I've phoned, emailed... now in a paypal dispute...
shocking buisness and company... never buying anything with the words "bits" in it again!!!
certainly put me off dodgy websites for awhile.0 -
Could anybody who knows about credit card chargebacks on mastercard, point me in the right direction on how to do it, or explain how to do it?
Thanks.0 -

They certainly didn't behave like this before, I have ordered from them several times and had no problems, even with returns/replacements. Let's hope this is a temporary blip.Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan

I am not sure what to think, especially as I have received part of my order.
I could understand them being overwhelmed by the mad rush with the 60% offer, but on the other hand can't understand how they have had time to stop there website taking orders, but not even put a notice up saying what the delay is.0 -

Aghh! they use a hotmail account ??! Sounds very dodgy, also sounds like a one man band run website who may just forward on orders.
Thanks for the link0 -
I have bought from Memory bits for a while and not had a problem, even when returning kit.
Since their 60% off offer there have gone quiet. No live chat, no emails, no telephone.
If I look up my order number says it still being processed. however if you look up other peoples orders by changing the number some have been sent out. I am guessing it depends on what people ordered and what was in stock.
Will give them a bit longer and see what happens, hoping its just a blip and they are overloaded with orders.0 -
