hi,
well ive got up in a very strange mood this morning....feeling totally unsettled and dissatisfied, dont know why and have also got alsorts of daft ideas in my head about wanting a small business!! why ? who knows. never entered my head before. Think i may be about to enter a mid life crisis or something. dont know anything about selling anything....dont even know how to e*ay etc. very strange....but my heads saying i have the ideal set up for an internet business........think i must be going crackers.
My diet has gone to pot in the last few days been a very bad girl....and now panic stricken because its weighin soon and its not good. As for exercise on the lottie thats great for toning up but makes me feel starved and eat more! i'm a rubbish dieter but will keep trying (im very trying!!).
you could try covering the veg with very small holed mesh to help with the mice or cloche type thing with plastic bottles...............the little darlings took a liking to me strawberries and got more than me!!!!
rejoined the grocery challenge to try to keep me in check, need the spending to come way down to get through the next few months, so may see you on there too.
gosh these thoughts wont go away...driving me crazy...see you latersealed pot member no :081

What sort of business are you thinking of? Its a good idea, if you have the time I would do some research into what works. my colleague does ebaying at work, so it would give you a way of starting a business without the overheads of a shop or buying huge anounts of stock. One of the ladies at SW was running a yummy mummy website for maternity clothes. Due to the current economic climate any buiness that can persuade the customer that thay are helping them save money I think would have a chancel...... It is tme consuming tho. Maybe Lucielle can give you ideas as I believe her DH has an online business....

tizercat i have absolutely no idea! thats why its all so mad. I woke up thinking i have a huge old garden , plenty of storage space (sheds etc), old house with old farm out buildings( may sound fancy but very run down and in need of plenty of tlc will take years to sort), rural but close to all major motorways, trains etc, major road runs close by. all that is spinning in my head. i work part time these days and kids grown up etc so do have time for something simple. But i havent a clue what!!!! worked all my life in offices and apart from these type of skills i know nothing. When i think about it i dont want to make millions(although it would be nice) i just fancy doing something for me and putting a few quid away etc. I dont know if im having a crisis or just feeling bored and in need of a change of direction.
I could go back to a job i had a few years ago and do full time as the boss there has asked me back several times but its not what i really want to do., even though i could do with the money, it was way too stressful and didnt do me any good at all. I guess im thinking i have looked after everyone in this household for years and now have some degree of freedom and want to try something for me. sorry im rambling along but this is not the usual me.
Ebay could be a good trial and i could run a business from here as there always was one here and permissions etc still ok , so no problem on that front.
we will see, i may calm down and return to normal or i may go off in some obscure direction.sealed pot member no :081

Broke the news to DS and DD that their rent will be going up in Jan 11. At 25 and 20 years old I have decided they can pay for 1/3 each the cost of the bills in the flat ( there are just the 3 of us). Esp as DD's DAd has given her £3K for a new car and she then mocked me for buying out of date beans!! It might make them turn the lights/heating off too...
Probably get home tonight to find they have moved out !! :rotfl::rotfl:Debt at LBM 2010 £40,640.17. Debt Free 2017 Debt 2023 £24k I didn't learn! NEW Goal Debt and Mortgage Free Jan 2025.

hi all,.
thanks lucielle will take a look at m girl thread when i get a chance. Im sure im having my mid life crisis though suddenly feel dissatisfied with everything
Well tizercat i do agree with you on the kids paying their way. Im trying to get my DD to realise that when you start earning you start taking responsibility for yourself . Well i tried to explain that she needed to turn off lights , stop wasting food (eats half of something and bins it etc), start to contribute something to her horse (even if only a small amount), pay for her own haircuts etc. Shes at college and works weekends. Now i am getting the silent treatment for daring to suggest any of these cruel and nasty ideas of mine!!!!!
The only thing she half offerd to pay towards is her clothes........which she doesnt need as wardrobe about to explode from its crammed in contents. I did ask her to pay half on the turnout rug (£10) and was told no. The livery/vet/animal insurance and feed supplements cost me a fortune every monthsealed pot member no :081

What that they will turn the lights out or leave home?:rotfl:
as much as I love my kids i didn't expect them to be living at home in their 20's as I was married as a teenager and had a mortgage and baby by the time I was 20!
If they move out I will miss them and I will have to share the flat with lodgers to pay the bills, but can't help feeling it's time for them to get on with their own lives.....
....anyhow they seem OK about the rent going up....after all it is only another £50 per month.... and not until Jan 11.
will be another £100 towards my debts a month hurrah :T
Oh another NSD for me today:T must update the siggie..Debt at LBM 2010 £40,640.17. Debt Free 2017 Debt 2023 £24k I didn't learn! NEW Goal Debt and Mortgage Free Jan 2025.
