Sounds like you have been busy to me FMF, i'm only digging in ernest as I have to get 40% of the plot cultivated by the end of Jan or they give it to someone else  Once I've done that I will slow down.
After all I am hoping to fit some riding into my w/e too and there is only so much daylight these days..... I will admit that my activities at the w/e are off set by by being a lazy wotsit all week. By the time I get home after work I like to curl up in bed with my dinner and Duvet Dog and watch TV!:j Or prowl on MSE!
Am very pleased with DS today. He brought home a huge beef brisket for only £4!! it was reduced in the $sd$ butchery as was still waiting to be cut up and only had 3 days left on the sell by date:) Looks big enough for 3 family dinners! Think I might look up some good receipes and keep the best piece for Xmas:xmassign: (Thought I'd get that smillie in first
!!)
Was aiming for a NSD today but DS reports that the MP4 player he wants for Xmas is finally in stock and has thoughtfully put one by, but they will only keep it for today as they sell out really fast @ £45 each! So hat and scarf back on I'm back out braving the weather to $sd$ to buy it! Might look at the whoopsies too while I'm there.:D:D
Luv the smilies too they really make me laugh!! :beer:Debt at LBM 2010 £40,640.17. Debt Free 2017 Debt 2023 £24k I didn't learn! NEW Goal Debt and Mortgage Free Jan 2025.

Managed to avoid the whoopsies as no room left in the freezer and there wasn't any that I actually needed !
Am very pleased as the Quality Street tin I bought for £4 on Sat has already gone up to £8 or 2 for £10.:jDebt at LBM 2010 £40,640.17. Debt Free 2017 Debt 2023 £24k I didn't learn! NEW Goal Debt and Mortgage Free Jan 2025.

good morning (she says with a huge yawn),
really wanted to stay in bed this morning, its freezing again here and still raining!!!!!
no work today so off to supermarket while i have a chance but shouldnt cost me too much this week unless any real good offers to stash for xmas.
Went browsing the shops last nite and managed to get DD some boot slippers and a very expensive small box of chocs from Ho*tel Choc*lat for xmas (shes always hanging her nose over then wanting to try it but its way too expensive for everyday, so im sure she will be thrilled with that). DH was in a surprisinglygood mood to say we were out shopping-not his choice of pastime at all. He can spend money no problem but not in my sort of places ie: cars, gadgets etc his sort of thing. you want to see him justifying his spends its priceless.
anyway better shift , well done on the mp4 sounds real good price, i dont have any huge items on DDs list this year so will just get as much as i can and thats that.
have a good day

Another NSD for me today:) missed it yesterday as had to get petrol but up to 6 now.
HM bread and pea soup again for lunch at work, its nice knowing I've made it myself
fish fingers and lots of SW potatoe wedges for tea.
Got despatch note for my BB4Less order so hopefully will arrive tomorrow, luckily both DS & DD will be around during the day now so should be able to deliver.
Nothing else to report today, have a good evening MSE'rsDebt at LBM 2010 £40,640.17. Debt Free 2017 Debt 2023 £24k I didn't learn! NEW Goal Debt and Mortgage Free Jan 2025.

extremely windy here at the moment , its been quite frightening during the night , we are in the countryside with no houses near us so we really feel it. Hope its ok where you are.
well done taking yor lunch to work, its much cheaper and more often than not tastes loads better. i will have to try some new soup recipes, we always stick to the same ones.
Went to the weigh in and stayed exactly the same but i feel a bit more determined this week and theres a new progrmme to follow too so the feeling is must try harder. How are you doing?
What are the plans for your weekend? Hows the budget doing in general? Are you finding it easier now you are a few weeks into it or not?
Im trying to get better week on week and have decided that my big purge starts January! Novembers budget for me is more or less as i planned but its really difficult when iam seeing christmas stuff id like to buy but keep having to stop myself because its not on my list or in my budget....so i must be improving , last year i would just have bought them and worried about it later plus nothing is going on cards its all cash.
have a good day

Ache all over and really tired this morning. Hope I haven't cought DD's cold!
Tried to post twice on friday and twice the internet crashed so gave up! Then DD kidnapped the puter all weekend! So am getting MSE withdrawal symptoms!
Hurt my back last a week ago lifting sacks of manure into the car, so stayed away from the new allotment this weekend. It made a nice change, had a lovely relaxing time.
Did the usual dropping DS off at work and shopping followed by washing and feeding, poo picking GG's field. Had go back 3 times though to catch GG1! She took one look at me in jodphers and knew her retirement was over !! Finally caught her as it was getting too dark to ride. (WITCH!)
Sunday was more succesfull and I actully went for a short plod on GG1 the first time since June! hurrah! She was really good.
Sunday GG3 came back, as he was no longer required as a companion. Had hoped he had gone for good! Oh well it saved one months livery costs for him any way.
Spent rest of w/e cooking and sewing. Baked scones and did a trial run on the xmas dinner with some of the beef DS bought home. It took hours to cook but was very tasty.
Have hand sewed nets for DS's room and started putting fleece on the back of the curtains I bought is make his bedroom more cosy.
Will try and look at the budget tonight Got a NSD Sunday. Must go to work.....am so tired though....Debt at LBM 2010 £40,640.17. Debt Free 2017 Debt 2023 £24k I didn't learn! NEW Goal Debt and Mortgage Free Jan 2025.

You have a point L the aching is probably from the riding not DD's cold! Hope you are having / had a lovely riding lesson today.Debt at LBM 2010 £40,640.17. Debt Free 2017 Debt 2023 £24k I didn't learn! NEW Goal Debt and Mortgage Free Jan 2025.

hi tizer,
how are you doing? what have you been upt o this week? hope the backs better.
i have had a busy week, i have painted the lounge (just one small window to finish), washed the curtains and cushions, washed the bathroom curtains, cleaned most of the kitchen cupboards and made two christmas cakes this week all on top of my normal work/household chores, so feeling pleased with myself (and shattered, could do with a week off now!). still theres loads more i would like to get done.
see you shortlysealed pot member no :081

FMF, am sooo jealous you have done lots of the things on the little list I keep in the bak of my mind that I want to do! Spring cleaning, decorating and making the christmas cake!
I have been off sick since Thursday. I think I've got DD's flu she had for 6 weeks. It's a funny sort of flu, none of the normal flu symptoms just a bit of a sore throat. But i feel absolutley exhausted and keep feeling hot and cold with a fuzzy head. Felt a bit better yesterday but overdid catching up on the chores I hadn't done. Woke up this morning aching all over again! Taking another day in bed, will go back into work tomorrow, as have too much to do.
Trouble is when I feel tired I get depressed and very negative and tend to think what the hell and spend money!!! so padlock on the purse for the next few weeks.
Have totally lost track of the budget and NSD's. will try and total the grocery chanllenge up at the end of the month.
Having 3 ponies is not helping. GG3 came back terrified of everyone! Kept swinging around to kick anyone who tried to touch him. So have got him stabled and am going up to handle him twice a day. He is beginning to come round. Managed to groom most of him at the weekend anyway. It wasn't worth the £50 I saved on livery, putting him on loan.
Back later....am getting tired again.Debt at LBM 2010 £40,640.17. Debt Free 2017 Debt 2023 £24k I didn't learn! NEW Goal Debt and Mortgage Free Jan 2025.
