ooohhh......what are you going to at olympia?
Cant grumble about the work....i practically come and go as i like as long as i get in a good 16 hours a week thats fine (flexi hours but mostly i do the same days). Boss is the business owner (small business) and lives in the same village as me so he has managed to get in for the paperwork etc and dropped it off for me. Im not complaining, it means i can get my hours done to suit me and not have to shift from my little blanket and boss more than happy that its getting done at all under the circumstances.
Wow your lorry hire is expensive....really wacks up your bills for the month...and what a lovely lady for sorting the horses. Ours hasnt been out for 3 days, stabled and im sure she loves it.....as long as food is provided shes as happy as can be, almost like your duvet dog!
oh on his way home, be happy when i know hes back in, sunshine apparently tomorrow..........................thank you xxsealed pot member no :081

Well the ponies are moved and seem to be happy in their new home, already having made friends with the locals:j. They have a huge field with plenty of hedges and trees for shelter, and still lots of grass.
Lorry cost £110 in the end as I had to top up the diesel . This was self drive hire for the day as I used it move the rubber mats and hay and 2 x trips with ponies. Down here this is pretty much the usual cost unfortunatly, but it was a lovely lorry to drive
Snow is cleared down here but is still very cold, the South Downs were all white with frost this morning when I drove over them to the yard. It was really beautifull!
Have moved offices over the weekend too!! I am really pleased as was on my own and now share with 2 other ladies in a much bigger room.

glad the ponies are feeling at home, havent a clue how much lorry hire was just sounded a lot to me.
still virtually snowed in here. nothing has been cleared and only seen a gritter once in ten days. main road just wide enough for 2 vehicles to pass (usually 3 lanes). my car still snowed in at furtherest end of driveway and is just a huge white blob! still over a foot of snow (was two) not melting very quickly because of the temperature -17 c last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have icicles hanging off my roof. getting some real nice pics on the camers though.
Hubby dropped me at aldi earlier and town much the same , hardly anyone around and totally treacherous to walk on the ice.
glad you have company at work makes the day move along a whole lot quicker.
this week i have a christmas lunch with the ladies i used to work with(been left 3 years but always get invited to anything sociial), we are having a 3 course xmas lunch in a local pub for £9.99 and imagine we will be there all afternoon. so price ok plus a couple of soft drinks, be nice to catch up and get the gossip.
take care xsealed pot member no :081

OK everyone please bear with me.....internet is very unreliable if I can get the computer off the DD!! Snow not to bad here now ...DD's present still not arrived although sent nearly 2 weeks ago! horsies happy in their new home! GG3 now advertised in the local tack shops for sale. Olympia spent too much, but alot less than usual.
GG1 had vaccination today so thats over and done with. Discussed GG2's sweetitch with vet, she warned me it may be very expensive to manage ....so have my doubts about keeping her too....i'll have to decide in Jan and sell before the midge season starts again.
OK off to bake mince pies
