Hi everyone
Pen and Maman very pleased to hear that you both enjoyed your birthdays and Pen glad your Dh is spoiling youI know that recent times have sometimes been difficult for you so I am pleased you are being spoiled this birthday weekend.
(()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Its my birthday later this month and I can choose a pressie :j Mr BB and I haven't really had the money to spoil each other when he was out of work.
So I am trying to decide what to have?
Dear Lurky how is your Kindle? Pardon me for asking :rotfl:
Budgie is toying with having one? You can make the font bigger apparently (which would be good for Budgie's failing eyesight). Also it is quite mse as you can download free books from Amazon.
I would appreciate your thoughts matey(()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Eh your shopping goodies are extremely good value, frugal chick you rock my friend  (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Oh and Jo my darling, I will probably be able to meet up in the Easter break? I am down at the end of the month for my birthday, but only for a couple of days. At Easter I shall hopefully manage a whole week
Oh and the first F1 race is on Budgies birthday :j
On the food front so to speak, I have had home made lentil soup for lunch and for dinner lovely organic lamb, veg and potatoe's with home made stuffing
Very nice it was too, I did fleeting think a glass of red wine would go very well with it but I did not succumb
So no alcohol all weekend, I have decided that I cannot keep doing the same old thing and then moan because I have put weight on
Budgie is looking to change, there is a new age come hippy come compassionate come perhaps a bit scatty Budgie on the way.
Btw will it be too warm to wear my poncho at Easter?
Though it does have a hat with it :rotfl:
Happy Sundays all and take care, its a new week ahead lets kick some ****
Let all go for a shiney, happy week

Just though I would mention that someone has posted on another thread that Groupon are doing a £2 voucher for the Red Cross Japan Disaster fund.
Each £2 coupon is matched by Groupon which will turn a £2 donation into a £4 donation.
You can purchase how many you want from 1 upwards.
I think its a really good that each donation is matched, I have just sent my Ds the link too as he is very good at donating. (Well he is my son after all). :A
I only joined Groupon to get the recent body shop deal, but glad I have now
Hope everyone is ok?
Off to watch Dancing on ice now, after my lovely bath with my Molton Brown bath gel
It does smell so lovely
Big hugs

Jo, before you put your OH into the tenancy please go and talk to the council and also to citizen's advice bureau. And even if you do put him on the tenancy and move out by taking the kids with you surely the council should then rehause you.

Help, can someone please direct me to a quick and easy recipe of banan bread/cake/muffins. Just got given 3 very ripe bananas and just want to do one that doesn't require too many ingredients (so that it is more likely I have them in my cupboards). Thank you sooooo much!!!!"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Yesterday:
Breakfast: Smoothie and a banana
Lunch: Chilli bean burger, chips and coleslaw
Supper: 2 bagels with primula0 -
Chicken is currently residing in tikka marinade in the fridge - first time I've done it from scratch so we'll see how that goes! I also have a huge pot of ragu/bolognese sauce bubbling away on the hob at the moment which will be for freezing I think.
Lunch today will be instant noodles from the chinese supermarket with some pitta bread I think - I'm really into the Asda seeded pitta's at the moment - they're some of the nicest I've tried and can often be had for 35p a pack of 6 so :money: too. Dinner tonight is going to be Salmon salad - I'm determined that we will start having one "salad night" a week - so tonight is this weeks! Will probably have a cheese and sundried tomato flatbread with it (bought for about 20p reduced a week or so back and currently in the freezer!)

Tikka sounds good, if it works can we have the recipe?
I'm trying to up my salad intake too. I must admit to buying those bags of mixed leaves as I find basic lettuce so boring, not very MSE but at Lidl's prices not too bad. I'm planning to try and grow some in the summer so I can just pick a selection.0 -
Tuna and cheese toasties.
Hope everyone is well. I am taking next week off sick. I am ok thou just need a break to catch up with stuff and rest or I get more wound up and head towards big crash."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
