New restaurant was good, if a bit pricey for the tiny portions. I had a fish in a sort of curry/coriander sauce with couscous - came on a board in two ramekins with a miniature ramekin of coconut on the side. Couscous had a roasted banana on top! Then I had a cheeseboard 'cos I don't really have a sweet tooth although an impressive range of cheeses was listed on the menu, the selection I had contained bogstandard Stilton and Cheddar plus two sorts of goats cheese. Great service, lovely building plus super company but I won't be rushing back.

Awww Jo - sorry to hear things are still dragging on, but good to see you here anyway.

Lunch today was a peat-smoked salmon salad - the salmon had been lurking in the freezer since last year when we were in the Hebrides and as we're about to go back for our annual trip this year I felt it was about time it got eaten! :o Dinner was left over bolognese sauce with couscous. I followed mine up with a bowl of muesli and greek yogurt as I'd run out of inspiration! :D

We've been having some odd meal combinations in the last few weeks as we've been trying to run down our second freezer before going away. We've managed to get it done, but next weeks meals will be interesting as we still seem to have plenty of food, but relatively little to make meals from! :rotfl:
