Sos good to see you too, is DD enjoyng Uni? How are you doing with work now? Sorry for the questions, but it seems a long while since I saw you. Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi Budgie

DD1 is LOVING uni! She's much happier now and has made some lovely new friends - including a special male friend....

As for work, I decided to go back freelancing and I too am much happier now!

DH still driving me mad a lot of the time - he managed to disconnect our network router last night, so 4 hours later on the phone to AOL, I've managed to get online by being attached via ethernet cable to the router .... and my work depends on internet access.

How are things with you? Is Mr B back at home now? Is your lovely son still doing well in his job and has he completed on his house purchase? I read your post the other day about frustrating things at work ...

    Great to speak again!

    xxx

    Hi Sos/Pricey,

Glad to hear that dd is enjoying uni, pleased to hear that you are also enjoying being freelance again:) Sorry Dh is being a pain, but hey its a man thing ;)

Yes Mr BB is back home and seems better now he is working again. (Touch Wood). Ds has completed on his house and I am just trying to get back down to him with Mr BB.

Ds seems happy and settled, I miss him but I speak to him loads, not as good as a hug though :)

Keep posting its nice to hear from you, take care and big hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

DD has been eating pancakes all day so I made just a small mixture. Managed to get 3 big pancakes out of it so one and half each. Perfect. DD happy as proverbial Larry and she was actually ready to leave after school club when I got there as that is how excited she was about making pancakes. I might need to arrange cooking evenings for us more often if that is what it makes to get her to come quickly :rotfl:

I guess rabbit is a bit like a cross between chicken and pork, if you know what I mean. It's slightly more gamey than either though. It is also, in our case, the makings of a really frugal meal as we have a friend who occasionally acquires a number of rabbits, some of which we end up with! :D

    No pancakes here...

  • Pancakes were a great success tonight. It gets so much easier as the DDs get older and can make some of them themselves, without splattering them all over the floor. Needless to say, Mr SOS isn't capable, so I had to do his for him ....

Budgie - glad to hear things are OK between you and Mr B at the moment and I'm really, really pleased that he's working.

Jo - you sound very calm about it all - good luck x

Budgie, nice to 'see' you. I am about but have loads going on in real life. Trying to keep life simple if I can not setting myself too many restrictions or targets - to be honest its all a bit of a grind ....

So pancakes here tonight. I really couldn't face it so the boys took over the kitchen, Mess everywhere!

I've a big birthday coming up at the weekend and everything seems to have got put on hold. Will be back soon properly with tales of my cheese and ham sarnies for lunch, I promise x

    Hope everyone is ok x

Jo, sending you as much virtual support as I can x
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Hope you got pancakes after all jo.

I thought I rememberd that OH wasn't on the tenancy. In that case you must speak to the council about what can be done and I'd say (although I'm no expert) definitely don't move out yourself until you know what your options are with the council.

I was going to say, it's good to see lots of old faces posting tonight but I thought that might be a bit insensitive. Have a good birthday when it comes and hope some of your stresses calm down.
