  • Sos good to see you too, is DD enjoyng Uni? How are you doing with work now? Sorry for the questions, but it seems a long while since I saw you. Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi Budgie

DD1 is LOVING uni! She's much happier now and has made some lovely new friends - including a special male friend....

As for work, I decided to go back freelancing and I too am much happier now!

DH still driving me mad a lot of the time - he managed to disconnect our network router last night, so 4 hours later on the phone to AOL, I've managed to get online by being attached via ethernet cable to the router .... and my work depends on internet access.

How are things with you? Is Mr B back at home now? Is your lovely son still doing well in his job and has he completed on his house purchase? I read your post the other day about frustrating things at work ...

    Great to speak again!

No doubt pork sausages in the Piggy household??

Stir-fry night here as usual. I'm going dancing tonight for the first time since procedure on my ankle. If it held up to last week's sightseeing then it should be OK.

Been out to eat today:duck starter, salmon main with samphire and crushed potatoes and cheeses to finish. Was very yummy, fortunately very small portions so hope not too much calorific damage! Lotas of socialising going on at the moment, out more than in next few days. Someone has to do it!!

That sounded a gorgeous lunch Maman (although you can keep the salmon :p). Beat my Tuna and sweetcorn sandwich!:rotfl:

Rejoining Slimming World tomorrow so hopefully my menu's will be a bit healthier from now on. Just for today though.....all day breakfast sandwich for lunch and pizza for tea :p:rotfl:

Well done MissP, I've become a SW convert so wish you all the very best. It doesn't really fit in too well for me with eating out of the home but most of the time the plan is absolutely fine. In fairness that's because all my syns go you know where.:o I look forward to chatting with you in the diner about what you're eating!!

I've had porage and a banana so far and bolognese planned tonight. Lunch will rather depend how hungry I feel.

Sorry all - been AWOL for a few days, bit of a panic here (MrEH ended up in hospital for a few days after an accident at rugby) but thankfully all fine now so can get back on track!

Dinner last night was roast chicken drumsticks with sweetcorn fritters and mushroom bulgar wheat from the Approved Food stash! Lunch today will be baked beans with a toasted muffin I think, and dinner....errr......dunno! :D

Hope all's well with everyone - a quick read back gives me an impression of chick-lets hatching all over people's kitchens while dancing with dodgy ankles and eating cheese happens about the place....I'm sure it's a bit more spread out than that, but I'm enjoying the picture it creates in any case! :rotfl:
