Afternoon all.
Brekkie was a fairy cake. DH is currently cooking turkey, stuff, honey parsnips - and he won't tell me the rest. I did get off my butt to make some jelly this morning (hard work, I know) and hopefully we've got some icecream to go with it.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

Bangers and mash for lunch
some nice cheeses and ham with toast and salad for tea.
I rebelled my frugal challenge in the shop today and got some cheeses that I love but never buy as think I can't afford them. But I can really it just means that my DFD is a bit further away."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Which cheeses do you really enjoy marru? Cheese has been very limited since I've been on y weightloss kick so I'd like to drool over some virtual ones;)0

There were so many I wanted but limited myself to emmental and brie."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Puddings have returned:D:D Well, more cake really - Just made a Jamacan Gingerbread type thinghy topped with icing ..... I'm sure it will go with custard
We have a Moroccan goaty thing here (See how technical I get when I cook with no recipe) Though have to admit I am doing roast potatoes and Yorkshire's
The goats got some spices and some rose and lavender powder stuff (See - very technical :rotfl:) with some herbs and salt and pepper ..... Smells good, tasted it, but had to add a bit more salt - Should be good
Smoke alarms going off now - my indication that the oil is ready for the Yorkshires :rotfl::rotfl:

Mmmm! I love the nutty taste of Emmental (called mouse cheese in our family) and I do like Brie as long as its quite ripe. If it's not then I'd rather have a camembert. I also love a cheese called Epoisses, that's soft and strong. The trouble is I can wrap it and put it in a box in the fridge and it still stinks the house out! Stilton is good too, I love it with melon or Parma ham.
Had more dauphinoise potatoes tonight (freezer portion from last week) and it was delicious. Tasted even more cheesy but I think mst things mariate well in the freezer. Curries and chillies always improve.
Sounds manic at yor house BHB, but glad to hear about the return of the pud!!!0 -
