So full with dinner....and we ate it two hours ago! Rubberised Pork, roast potatos, yorkshire pud, peas and gravy. Bloody hell it was nice !:rotfl:

Rest of pork went in freezer for another day.

Budgie - I would personally not touch tarot readings. I'd rather let what is going to happen, happen (iykwim). I can appreciate that after a rough time it can seem appealing to be able to foresee whats coming. However, its up to you. Do you feel the need to know whats going to happen in your future? Do you need that feeling of either impending excitement or dread...maybe followed by disappointment? Like I say, up to you. You are a very capable, sensible lady so am sure you will do whats best for you.

    Thankyou Miss P :A

Though I do have to say that I do shudder when you talk about your pork, especially rubberising it  (You being a Miss P and all and having Dear Piglet) ;)

So glad you and piglet had a lovely Christmas :) you did make me smile with the tale of your oh waggling the corkscrew at you :D as Bhb says it could have been worse :o

Hugs sweetheart and take care, oh and btw I am just out of sorts etc and I don't know, perhaps its just something to look forward too that I crave????????????

    Much love

My dear budgie.....GIVE yourself something to look forward to! For example...me and OH have just bookd a night in a Premier Inn for April...going to the Leicester Space Centre. Piglet MAD on space at the moment. I know its something little but I am really looking forward to it!
Why not book yourself a spa weekend? Or a theatre trip. You work very hard and deserve something nice!!! So there!

I'm with you on the Tarot card thing MissP, if it's something bad I'd rather not know and if it's good then it will be a nice surprise. If I were you Budgie, I'd rather focus on the things you can do something about. I'm into weightloss, cutting-down and some other resolutions. That's enough for me at the moment:)

Good for you on booking the space thing MissP. I think it's a great idea to have something to look forward to in dark days of winter.

Bubble&Squeak thing was quite nice, made little cakes out of it. Got some LO for tomorrow's lunch too:)

The new year started off terribly as my grandma passed away in the early hours of this morning. which is very sad.

Budge, so sorry to hear your sad news :(

    Hi to everyone

So sorry I've been away from the diner, had a few things to 'deal' with ;)

Can't remember what I've told you all now and can't be bothered to scroll back. Confronted OH on Boxing Day, he wanted to try again and now over a week later it's not working for me so feel very strongly today that I want to finish it properly, this evening if possible. It's just so hard with the kids here and getting alone time to talk to him. If I asked him to go for a drive or go down the road for a drink or summat he'd only refuse, he'd sit and player poker instead *rolleyes*.

I did, however, have quite an interesting conversation with DD1 when she came home from a night out on Sunday, I can't remember how the conversation started as I was very drunk. OH was out and she came in a sat down (something she never does if he is sat in here) and we started talking about me and OH and she said that she couldn't understand why I didn't move out years ago, said we were always arguing in the early days when she was small and she said she knows that we have never loved each other. Said she wished that we were seperate and happy rather than always miserable. I asked her, if I left, what would she do and she said she'd want to live with me (:j), said she would want to see her dad but wouldn't want to live with him cos he never does anything and is always so miserable.

So, this has given me a big boost :D

Right, just taken me an hour to catch up with the boards, now I better go to work

Chow for now and I promise to not go AWOL again ;)

    xx

Well yes of course I would agree ;) apart from the time he thought my "Herby Dumplings" were a blues musician :)

Hugs my Darling Jo and I hope that life's path this year unfolds into what you want it to be. (I have to say though, all this online poker, well I would take Mrs Bhb's line on this and if I were you I'd do the old frying pan around the head routine). Big hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Miss P hugs to you to Angel, but I will reply on our other thread. Hope the Bunnies knitted scarf is coming on well? Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ok Budgie is about to go to bed in about 15 mins, I am cold and tired, but not hungry as I had some chicken/chorizo stewey thing in the slow cooker, you know the one, you rummage about and chuck in what you have ;)

So lots of love everyone and take care, mucho bear hugs as Hb would say :)
