    Hi Budgster

Sorry to hear your news about your grandma. What a start to the new year eh?

All the same glad to see you on here and lots of love for the new year Mrs Hippy

Lol thanks for the Mrs Hippy quote, it has made me smile :)

You seem to be doing well my friend, and yes not a great start to the new year, yet its funny I was born on my grandads 50th birthday and named after the daughter he and my grandma lost at aged one.

Its kinda strange but for once this year I am going to put myself first, my dearest friend has been telling me to do this for an age now.

I have just started to listen, hey its taken awhile ;)

But its nice here, like putting a pair of comfy slipper on, iyswim? Though the service and staffing seems a bit lapse, must be down to the bank holidays ;)

I know, I know Budgie. Jo does her best but the staff are very unreliable. But we keep coming in because the food and company are excellent:D

So sorry to hear about your grandma. Sending big hugs to you and yours.
  • Morning all, anyone up yet ? :D

Far too lazy to do much about breakfast, still in my PJ's with a big mug of tea.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

We did a pork roast yesterday and it was yum. Not sure what I can be bothered with today - must go and get some meat out of the freezer.

ETA: found some meatballs so it looks like that with spaghetti for lunch

Breakfast of naughty banana pancakes again with yoghurt and honey

Prob won't want much lunch as they're filling!

Tea is macaroni cheese and ham

Feeling full now, but room for another cuppa then really will make a move and get going - slow start to the day today

PJ's still here too - haven't made it out of bed yet! Will be heading home from the inlaws later on so food today will be bits and bobs I expect. MIL will almost certainly feed us before we leave though which is good! They took us for a meal last night - roast duck with plum sauce, braised chestnuts, veg & fries - it was gorgeous!

Budgie sorry about your Gran - hope the year improves from here. xx

    Jo - how's things? ((((()))))
