  • Oh DT, don't know what to say. How is he feeling about it all, and has he managed to have something to eat.

More positive vibes heading your way.

Bah to your card. My DS won't use his HSBC card on Amazon because almost every time he does, they suspend it.

re: Torchwood, definitely darker, more adult...but the Children of Earth story still has me in tears every time I watch it.

  • I love Torchwood but agree about the doctor - smarmy git:D I have to say the exhibition was a bit of a disappointment when we went to see it KC a couple of years ago but you should still come to Cardiff it's lovely.

OS was given a sandwich at 3pm had to endure a day of other patients including an old woman relating their complete medical history to him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:he has a kind face and is too polite for his own good sometimes - but I am not complaining he is lovely

We had a meal in the hotel tonight which he enjoyed very much. Just hope things go a bit smoother tomorrow.

The journey is not too bad KC its only on the outskirts of Cardiff not far from Hobbycraft so I may just have to visit :) and have a nose it would be rude not to :o. It is a new unit and looks very swish the surgeon that is operating tomorrow is the one that was originally going to operate on him next week so should know what he is doing the Registrar was not happy to do it today on his own because it has the potential to be quite complicated so I am rather relieved about that. I don't want anything else to go wrong.

  • Sending you positive vibes that it goes well today.
I know its frustrating but its better that the registrar didn't do it if he was not confident.

Enjoy hobbycraft - quite a nice browse, but I think its expensive.

  • Haven't been to hobbycraft ........................ yet felt so shattered when I came from the hospital that I just grabbed something to eat and have come back to the hotel. More online shopping I think but I will have to do some shopping tonight after visiting.

OS finally has a bed on the ward now just have to pray op goes ahead they said they are really busy. The hospital is a nightmare you need sat nav to get around and half of it is a building site and the parking is mad cars dumped everywhere so goodness knows where I will park tonight it was OK this morning at 7.15 but now there is just no spaces. At least I was allowed to stay with him whilst he waited for a bed so he didn't get collared by someone sharing their medical history - I did offer :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well, it sounds really good that he's got the more senior surgeon now - I *do* like my professionals to be really experienced! I can understand you being shattered - I'm shattered now just from being around the builders all morning. Hope it goes well for him this afternoon - smooth and problem free.

Sorry - I was so caught up in my own stresses that I missed all of this yesterday!

Hope all is well today, one way or another xx

No worries I think you have plenty to think about - the house warming party for instance :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
