This computer doesn't like me today :(

    It's just lost a post.

The waiting must be awful for you and him, hope it isn't delayed much longer.

Can you face 'real shopping' so soon after the epic Glasgow shop :)

Is it Torchwood or John Barrowman?

The post suddenly reappeared too - this computer doesn't like me at all today, or maybe it's the internet connection, had problems with both earlier :(

hope OS operation has gone ok
  • I don't like to complain but if I was doing a report on your positive vibes today I would say could do better :(

Operation cancelled due to his surgeon having a cardiac problem and being admitted himself today to the cardiology unit  thank God he wasn't doing OS' surgery at the time !!!!!!!!!!! he looked fine when I spoke to him yesterday was it something I said or stress thinking about doing OS' surgery :o he isn't old either

So he is going to be operated on tomorrow at Llandough Hospital so just done a dummy run to see exactly where it is as we have to be there for 7.30am tomorrow - for take 2. It is up quite a steep hill so please don't let there be any snow over night

Found out why I couldn't buy anything online M&S don't think I should be buying anything from attitude clothing and suspended my card I was only trying to buy a sweatshirt and tshirt for my daughter for Christmas so three phonecalls later whilst in the middle of picking up son they have now reinstated my card

I did get to the post office but the real shopping will have to wait until tomorrow now. So I will try and complete the online shopping tonight I may leave attitude clothing until last in case they decide they don't like it again:(

Why is life never simple I really need him to be out of hospital for Saturday morning at the latest so please please concentrate on those positive vibes :T

I mis-read the bit hi-lighted and thought you meant the surgeon :rotfl:

Poor original surgeon :( I am sure it is nothing you said ;)

Glad OS doesn't have to wait too long & fingers crossed he will still be out by Saturday. He must have been very bored today though

I quite like the thought of M&S approving your purchases, wonder what they would make of some of mine! :rotfl: Glad you got it sorted, in this day & age it is difficult to cope without some working plastic!

Hope tomorrow goes well, Look after yourself as well as OS :)

Good heavens DT! Fancy the surgeon having a problem himself!!!! I hope this other hospital for OS is all right - no idea what sort of journey you now have to make :(

And I'm all envious of watching Torchwood being filmed! And I didn't know there was a permanent exhibition there! Thats another place I'll have to visit!

SE - Torchwood was how John Barrowman got onto tv in this country, its definitely a Dr Who spinoff, but darker, more adult, more sexual - I never liked the young medical doctor tho, couldn't get on with his face or his screen presence, but the other supporting actors were wonderful.

Poor son, poor you and poor surgeon and family too.

Did DS manage to eat/drink at all? The problem is the 'nil by mouth' period, as well as the stress of waiting, hope they gave him something to eat and drink as soon as they knew it was cancelled.

Hope the weather isn't too bad tomorrow, it's good that they managed to fit it in so quickly elsewhere, they must be so busy at the moment with the ice causing extra injuries.

Best wishes for tomorrow for both of you, I suppose I should add the surgeon and operating theatre staff to the list now too :D
