What a nightmare! It's good that you are organised though and managed to work your way through it all. That sounds like quite a specialised bit of kit, so understand now how passing it to someone else could be difficult. Thought it was more like a normal powerpoint, where someone just had to click 'GO'
DS knee sounds like a nightmare. Hope the surgery goes OK.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

DS' injury really does sound horrific - is there any way he can get some sort of compensation from the "pot" of cash that is for victims of crime? After all, that is really what he is?
I am not surprised you were in tears over the presentation - I certainly would have been exhausted with the frustration of it all. But glad it all got sorted in the end.
And yes, hurrah hurrah hurrah for being able to wear your jeansSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

It is awful his leg is very swollen and bruised and his inability to pull his foot up is worrying but I am assured that will get better but will take time. I have already told him to get back in touch with the police to make sure they have reported it as an incident they did speak to him just after it happened and they called the ambulance. Hopefully there will be some CCTV coverage he did have a friend with him so does have a witness. I think he will probably have a claim under the criminal injuries compensation scheme although I have warned him it won't be a fortune as they have a fixed tariff for injuries which are fairly modest unlike insurance claims which seem to have gone ridiculous no wonder we have to keep paying increased premiumsstill anything will help as he is going to have mobility problems for months especially getting to and from hospital appointments and to Uni.

Gosh, DT, no wonder you were stressed and in tears! From me: what Gill said. What Hypno said. You're managing brilliantly, and I'm so glad Monday went well. I feel very sorry for OS - sounds like he's in for a tough time, which means you are, as you want to support him as much as you can, I know. Just take care!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

DT - You make me think of something once said to my Mum. If you want something doing, ask the busiest person you know! They usually have outstanding organisational skills and can manage to do the impossible. You do that each and every day!
Sometimes I hate technology and I work for an IT company so it doesn't go down well when I throw my toys out of my pram. I have also been driven to tears by the vagaries of technology.
Poor OS, that sounds like an awful injury from what appears to have been a prank  Lets send positive thoughts for tomorrow in the hope that they will be able to fix him where he is and not have to send him to Swansea :j

Oh DT what a stressful time you're having! Hugs to you. The representation sounds like it was a nightmare, but glad you got it sorted in the end - thanks to your tenacity.
Hope DS gets sorted soon, as you say it will be a long haul and very frustrating for him....
But hurray for getting into your new jeans! :T:T:T May they be the first pair of many!
Enjoy and be kind to YOURselfxxx

Right off to collect the boy and deposit him in the Theatre Admission Lounge where I gather there are comfy chairs for him to use whilst waiting.
Positive vibes needed today that they won't find anything else wrong
