Souk's right - I'm a size 12/14, at 5' 7" or so, and Zara is useless for me - the sizing is meant for 13 year olds!

I don't know KC, I'm the same height as you and a size 14, but I find Zara fits me well - apart from the fitted dresses, which are miniscule - but I've bought jackets, coats, trousers and dresses from there...

Okay, I'm going to confess. I have fat arms. Simples - *nothing* from Zara will fit me, and unless I tone up like crazy, I'll probably be wearing a size 16 by the end of the year, sob ........

How many 5'7" ish people are there on here (I'm 5' 7.5")? Also currently now size 12/14?

Sorry if it's a divergence DT.

I'm sure I could find something to crowbar you into :p
In all seriousness, there are certain shops that suit your shape and those that don't. French Connection seems to suit me as there waists are on the generous side - pity their prices don't always suit my budget.
But the clothes in Karen Millen are like from Lilliput on me - I look like I'm in drag :o

For years I'd have longed to be shorter, but with the improved confidence I'm now happy with the height I am, and back in heels again.

Heels can be added, but shrinking legs isn't so easy, well unless you watched 'Life and loves of a she devil'!!!

I only make 5 foot with heels :D

Precis Petite and Minuet (usually via eBay) are my favourites but they still need altering in the length and shoulder  As I can't even sew a button on everything costs me £8 minimum in alterations which isn't very MSE.

Zara is OK for tops but don't think I have ever bought anything else there.

As a teenager I was always mortified that I couldn't buy anything fashionable and then they opened Tammy and my life changed. But it took me a long time to find my "style". Wish I had got someone like Souk around all those years ago!
