I like colouring too - probably why I teach Sunday School.
macgirl - I know the Law makes sense but I hated the job enjoyed the degree though and I vowed never to return
Yep you are right I am not ruthless and I would care about other people but surely not all rich people have to be like that there has to be exceptions - I am good working with people because I can empathise with them so when I was working people enjoyed working for me because they knew I cared and if needed I would pitch in and help them consequently they were always prepared to go the extra mile when needed - OK I am rambling
I need to see what is under my nose????????????? I have my thinking cap on

Just tried to post and lost it all
But yes I agree, I would hope that there are some altruistic people who got rich that way.
I can identify with you at work because I am like that - I could not step on someone to get ahead and definitely pitch in for the team.
I'm sure you will identify your niche and the fact that you are so focussed means that, although you don't yet know what *it* is - you're well on your way0 -
Something to do with babies?
Write a baby book, or a fostering experience book?
Sell baby items on the web?
Design something to make life with a baby easier?
You're an expert on twins, maybe you have some ideas you could share with the wider public on how to cope?
Mmmm can see why you are struggling though, I'm struggling to think of something for me too!
Good luck

OK I have come up with a possible idea and I am very grateful to firewalker for her exercise and also for the various suggestions from people as the idea I have is a mix of things that have been discussed today sadly nothing to do with wallpaper clever or otherwise KC :rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry I can't say any more as it is one of those things that to succeed needs to be kept quiet sadly I am not the first to think of it that would be too good so I have to do some research to see whether the idea still has legs or whether the bubble has already burst. I was researching last night so back to late nights:( and so far so good and really the main thing I have to lose is my time which I have plenty of. There is minimal financial risk and that can be managed.
Sorry to be so cryptic but I am really quite excited and it is very much thanks to people on here making me think properly and as macgirl said it was really right under my nose :A

Hi DT it looks like a lot is happening on your thread, and with you at the moment. Hope your new idea works out.0

Will think about my skills in that sort of way - I did a degree in Maths from OU just because I liked numbers. Not sure what good it did me.
Ah, the *dream* lifestyle - ok, now I get it! What could I follow round the world like that .... oh I know, science fiction conventionsDouble_Trouble wrote: »Clever wallpaper:eek: - I think KC has lost the plot I only put it on the wall and don't do that these days as I have all painted walls :rotfl:
Just thought of something else that I lose time doing putting LEGO models together:D

Oi you :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I used to watch Click a lot, the 15minute show on the BBC news channel about new gadgets coming up in the next few years - and one of them, I'm sure, is about wall coverings that have stuff built into them - LED lights, or circuitry, stuff like that.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I know of two - one the owner of a huge financial firm who is a happy family man. The other owns a smaller one, and has a self-started project to "adopt" in situ twenty chosen-for-aptitude Indian children in a Delhi orphanage and fund them for three years to learn finance techniques - half their profits for themselves, the other half for the orphanage, so they can establish more orphanages.
I am good working with people because I can empathise with them so when I was working people enjoyed working for me because they knew I cared and if needed I would pitch in and help them consequently they were always prepared to go the extra mile when needed - OK I am rambling
You know, DT, you're a bit of a matrix focus person yourself - enabling others is a crucial skill, in business lifecoaching for instance - where £100 an hour is a low rate of pay, I kid you not. A good life coaching qualification, and some backup - you're easily into £1,000 a day. And more.

Good luck!
DT, when at an appropriate stage you can go to the closed forum - or send PMs to several provokative people. I am off to Oxford but will write the ten steps (from idea to realisation) and share on forum by the end of the week.
