DT!!!! What a fantastic antidote to all the pain you were going through! And so family-oriented too, because of your dad - I'm *really* glad it went so well

2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • Right back to reality today although I am still on a post match high :D

Done some more decluttering this morning so dining room is clear and started on the paperwork that has built up recently. The Kitchen is still maintaining its minimalist look :T

Had a Trustee's meeting today which went well and we have decided how to proceed this year without me going to Uganda which will hopefully be acceptable to all involved:)

Also had my accounts back from the auditors signed off ready for the AGM on the 16th March so no more accounts for a while :j

Off to Mr. Ts in a little while to see how much I can shave off the food budget and also heard that Focus have a 33% off sale which is finishing today so going to see if they have any trellis and paint for the pergola so fingers crossed they have what we need.

Then back to the paperwork mountain. Quieter day tomorrow no meetings so can finish it then as it is mad for the rest of the week.

Still not heard from the SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) or the census people so not much I can do on the job front so will concentrate on getting the house and garden how I want it.

Had a nice moment today a support worker that hasn't seen me for a while turned up to get my little boy and was absolutely flabbergasted at my weight loss which was nice :D said she would have walked past me in the street and that I look 10 years younger :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • OK my pergola will be brown not blue as I couldn't get any untreated trellis and it wont take the paint without going back to bare wood which is just impossible on trellis but I did get a third off so I am very happy with that and a strong man put it in the car for me :D

The shop went well:j I have rather a lot of cereal as a 3 for 2 offer ends tomorrow and a lot of tomatoes and even with purchasing a card for my digital photo frame I am still way under budget and should be able to buy the trellis and paint out of this weeks budget so that makes me very happy indeedy. And the till spewed out some nice useful vouchers.

I bought the card because my two eldest bought me the digital frame some time ago but couldnt afford the card so borrowed one from a camera which of course had to go back and consequently I haven't been using the frame I have lots of pictures of my grand daughter and eventually :o it dawned on me that the best thing to do was to put the frame to use to display them and it was so quick and so much better and cheaper than printing them all out and putting them into an album:T

So a very happy DT tonight.
