Well I have continued on from Yesterdays first dip into the world of flying! Got in from school and did the dishwasher, took out a load from the washer and hung it on the maiden. Last night's wine bottle and cans in the recycling (we had friends over - it wasn't just mine lol)

Now sat down having a brew.

Next piece of advice needed (and please point me in the direct of somewhere else if you think it would be useful) how do I make it stay this way.

I know I will never be able to do that great long list of things (I know you don't have to do it all though)

So what would your golden piece of advice be to keep it nice and lovely :)

Thanks Toots, but unfortunately the job didn't happen, but not to worry(too much!!) I am currently looking at the main site here about getting a 0% credit card to pay up front for car insurance(Martin says it may be cheaper than paying the insurance dealers interest), and looking at other ways to cut costs xx

Maxonian if you have a local pest control firm it might be worth contacting them. We had 'bird mites' got in our old house about 7 years ago, they came out and identified what they were etc.
Rach pleased things are going well, sounds like your DH has come round to the idea then :D wonderful that it's going so well for you all x I do love the 'sunroof' term :)
tooch, shall we try harder together? ((hugs)) something will come up soon I am sure x
macpep I'll swap, I have one who will paint/paper (even if badly) but won't touch housework and definately not iron which I hate hate hate...trades?
Triker, wow 26 years, that's a long time! As for the hair, men, nothing else required to say!
AnWsMum those flexi days are such a nightmare for working Mum's, drives me mad and I don't work! They used to try to take them as Xmas days off at DSs old school until a NASTY governor....told them not a hope!
sazzy if we knew that, we wouldn't need lists every week :)

Meeting done, productive but they took some kicking into it. Don't you just hate it when someone wants to just natter natter natter about gossipy cr*p.....or is that just me not being the girly b*tching sort?

Anyway done some washing, emptied the dishwasher, made some snacks, put something in cooker to defrost for my tea - found some cheese sauce, thinking do it on veg and maybe fish? think that's about it so far.

I'd like to get the following done tonight

Chuck away OU notes I don't need
Pack away OU books from this course
Sort set books I bought *several which I didn't use!* to put on ebay
2 washer loads - to put on airers and in TD ....
    Feed animals
Kick DS2s butt who is in a right stroppy mood!
Fold some of the clean washing off the drier
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Waiting for shopping to be delivered (4-6pm) but at least they phoned to say they are stuck on the motorway. Gave me a chance to take the dog out for her little wander, it was far too wet earlier and would have been dark by the time the shopping was put away. She's wandering round the house like a lost soul now.

I have started a college course and although it is only 1 afternoon a week, it also involves 1 day at a school......while still doing 4 lunchtimes at the school...the odd breakfast club and my 2 mornings at welsh class.....Hope fully I will be qualified enough (as a TA) to go into a welsh school by next September xx

    Morning

Kids have a day off today as it is an inset day, they have another just before half term as well. That brings the total so far up to 4 this term :mad: Thank goodness for Mum and Dad being able to help me. Managed to get the day off work for the other one (which was touch and go)
If it makes you feel any better your teachers have been in a very intense, but interesting, curriculum-enriching meeting ALL DAY with a bare 45 minute lunch break working with teachers from all over the area;)

And your TAs and mid day supervisors have probably been doing training too.

i think it's moth caterpillar thingies. Sooooo, I will have to wash everything at above 50 degrees c and thoroughly clean the wardrobe out. Will have to bin stuff - cant possibly ebay or charity bag it! What an effing nightmare. Okay - hanky in hand - sob - I'm off to it........ if anyone fancies popping round to help - you're welcome. (Sense of humour must be retained!) Could be off to Primark tomorrow.......

make sure you vaccum out in all crevices and get some cedar wood discs (hardware stores) to hang on your coat hangers in future

been shopping - and had to pull off the road in traffic  due to temporary incapacity. My nose had itched, I blew it and managed to unblock my tear duct into my eye then it got worse. Nose suddenly started running - DD had been watching me because I couldn't see clearly out of my left eye and I had a nosebleed! So I pulled off the road onto a wide pavement until it stopped!
