- Don't put it down put it away (cheers Valli)
- Get rid of clutter, takes time but works in the long run (cheers Serena)
- Deal with the post as it arrives - and get rid, don't let paperwork pile up if you dont need to
- Make half an hour a week minimum to deal with a hotspot so problems dont build up again

....or have hobbies, or buy books!!!:p:D
:hello:Hi hex!! I think it's probably more Valli's top tip, rather than mine - I aspire to minimalism - but am very unlikely to achieve it!
I have been flinging from my bedroom again this morning - the small mountain of stuff that accumulated from school and courses that I did last year. I've reduced it and sorted it, so now have two folders to file and a bag to take into school. With rain forecast I want to go through my wardrobe, and remove all the summer clothes, and also all the tatty t shirts - far more than I'll need for decorating or gardening.
I have also decluttered large sums of money - I went to I*** with DD to buy the furniture for her bedroom - bed, wardrobe, small chest of drawers, and bookshelf, as well as some candles and holders, and a small table lamp (and some spare dinner plates to replace the ones I've been clumsy with). The furniture is being delivered in the next couple of weeks, and OH has booked a week off to lay the laminate flooring and assemble the furniture - the week after halfterm, which meansd DD and I will have the half term to empty the room and do the painting. As we live in a small house I cannot think where on earth we are going to put all her stuff...
Of course, we just had to pop into Primark as well, and came out with a jacket each and two jumpers for DD.
We left late, and the journey home as unpleasant with the rain and spray, and heavy traffic. DD texted DS1 who was a star and cooked a delicious dinner, so all I had to do was come in and eat.
More knitting now I think...
Love and hugs to lady-liberty, toots and diva - and of course, to all the flyladies who'd like one too!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Congratulations LK - a bouncing baby boy alright! you will soon work up arm muscles carrying him about! Relax and enjoy him - gently does it and just work slowly on building routines - take all the help that is offered because you will get very tired at times.

penpen: you are posting and not watching strictly?! And OMG how well did Matt Baker do??! :eek:
:D:cool::cool:
not too much done here.. decluttered £80 on a refurbed HD LCD TV, so spent considerable time unplugging BT box, DVD player, Wii, etc etc, and sorting out cables, and getting rid of loads of cobwebs from behind the TV unit. I did go and sort out Grandma's laptop tho, so she's now got a dongle and a webcamso that she can chat to my parents in Portugal.

MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
