well i suppose id better get up off the sofa and get showered and dressed. i am waiting on some flowers being delivered as an apology to one of my neighbours. my cat escaped when i got in from the osteopath yesterday and ran straight into her house  they are not a fan of cats and when i went in to get him he was running all over the kitchen worktops and sinks and if it were me i wouldnt be happy so i thought some nice flowers to say sorry properly.

What a lovely kind thought.Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -

i think it's moth caterpillar thingies. Sooooo, I will have to wash everything at above 50 degrees c and thoroughly clean the wardrobe out. Will have to bin stuff - cant possibly ebay or charity bag it! What an effing nightmare. Okay - hanky in hand - sob - I'm off to it........ if anyone fancies popping round to help - you're welcome. (Sense of humour must be retained!) Could be off to Primark tomorrow.......
Anything that can't be washed hot (and wash it as hot as you can) can be frozen for 24 hours. Or tumbled very very hot for a long time. Kills the dust mites too
You also need to treat all the textiles in the room (carpet is one of the culprits for harbouring eggs and grubs). So wash curtains, pillows, duvets etc, vacuum the mattress and if you have carpet and can't get rid of it then you'll have to spray moth killer on it. Wash out the wardrobe very carefully to get rid of everything, and use moth killer as well to be on the safe side.
My parents have had infestations of moths for years (ever since my grandparents moved in during the 80s... they probably brought them with them!) and ended up ripping up the carpets in part of the house where the moths had eaten bald patches in them. My mother swears by pheromone traps - which at least give her an idea of the number of moths about. She also keeps all her cashmere jumpers (she buys them with her winter fuel allowance, as my dad won't turn up the heating anyway, so she refused to contribute it to the oil bill!) and anything silk in a camphor wood chest.0 -

I got DD1's 18th pressie from there, it's lovely, 12 month warranty and absolutely stunning, has everything and more for her and her college work.
I bought her a MSI one, around £300 mark but paid for with paypal through the gains I'd got from selling some of my cast iron cookware.
Company who does the refurbs (if you get a refurb) very approachable too. They send their details with the laptop, so far, I'm very happy, would recommend argos clearance on ebay. I looked on HotUkDeals to see what was the better spec to go for as it's all yurdish to me.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
