busy busy busy week, but have finished work now until Monday. Will be up at my usual time tomorrow ready to fly. Just putting the finishing touches to my list, so will post in the morning. Anyway, it gives me a chance to prevaricate! ha!

Rach pics are lovely. Leo is gorgeous
Dusty and pigpen - my white stuff order has arrived but it's been delivered opposite and they're not home - sob! Will have to be patient. I wonder what we all bought? Flyladies uniforms? Just a thought.......
Cycling-Yorkie - yes Aftermath. I enjoyed it, but it didn't live up to my expectations! I have problems with expectations all the time!
    Right bath methinks.....

I belong to a book group where a couple of the ladies are real Banks/ Peter Robinson fans....and one of them was so unhappy with Sunday night! BUT - she long since made up her mind that Neil Pearson would be ideal for Banks!!!

I have read some of the books....but not this one! But the Banks I know from the books doesn't seem to come across...

I wish they'd done it as a 2 hour drama - like Morse used to be!

On a different note - they're doing some of the Mark Billingham crime novels for TV too - with David Morrisey in thye lead as Tom Thorne - I've got my fingers crossed that this could be good!

    Hi all

I think you probably all already know (certainly some of you do) but my gorgeous son Leo John Richard was born last Thursday, 23 Sept at 7.55pm. He came out via the sunroof under general anaesthetic in the end after waters broke almost exactly 24 hours earlier. Was slightly traumatic time but neither of us was ever in any danger...just that in the end my pelvis was too small and flat to let him out like my mums!!

The main thing is he's here and he's well, after 36 hours in SCBU (he had a 'dusky episode' thurs eve on me when he went really floppy and had to be rushed off and given oxygen. they think he'd got too cold from the operating theatre as we were in recovery for an hour, and I was a bit out of it and they weren't really keeping enough of an eye on me). It was the worst few hours of my life when they had taken him away but he's fine now. We decided Leo was very approproate for a little fighter!

Pics are here. He's put on 1oz so far which is great at 5 days!

Thanks so much to juliejim for the package for Leo, you'll get a proper thanks in due course!

DH is being a star and being a flylady, currently cleaning the kitchen. I am just resting as much as poss and concentrating on feeding! DH is also doing 90% of nappies :) and is madly in love with his son!

Rach - he is gorgeous! Well done you! Pigpen's right - as always - the less you do the quicker you heal! (blushes at remembering dash at 2+ weeks after the first via train to see very ill M-i-L at other end of country - NOT RECOMENDED!!!)

I seem to remember that sloggi knickers are nice and supportive for after a section!

And enjoy - and take loads of pics - my eldest is 20 at the end of the month!

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning all

I feel grim, DS1 feels grim, DS2 has returned to school as he feels a little less grim.

Plan was to clean the AGA but I'll see how I feel in a bit

OK, decision made. I'm going to do some dailies in the children's current bedroom but I'm not going to stress too much about perfection. What I'm going to concentrate on is the small room which is to become DS2's bedroom which has not been inhabited for about 15 years and has a layer of grot on it an inch thick, as well as everyone else's stuff in it. So my task for today is to be kind but firm with MIL, and present her with some boxes I will have removed from the room, and insist she take them away with her. I also have to find somewhere for DH's record collection to live, as well as somewhere to temporarly store some of his projecty stuff. I figure once I have that room clear, and ready for DS2 to move into with his things, then it will be easier to sort out the larger bedroom for DD2 and only have her things to bother about. Does that sound like a plan? It all sounds very confident to me, but goodness knows where I'm going to store the things we actually want to keep now!:o

Hugs! Google image bugs on clothes and see if that can help you identify your problem.

i think it's moth caterpillar thingies. Sooooo, I will have to wash everything at above 50 degrees c and thoroughly clean the wardrobe out. Will have to bin stuff - cant possibly ebay or charity bag it! What an effing nightmare. Okay - hanky in hand - sob - I'm off to it........ if anyone fancies popping round to help - you're welcome. (Sense of humour must be retained!) Could be off to Primark tomorrow.......
