Dum de dum de dum .... yes, it's that time of the month again where I'm sat waiting for my tesco delivery. At least I no longer book the 9 till 11pm slot - that was a killer. So I'm sat here waiting for my 7 till 9 slot so that puts the odds on a 9pm delivery! I supposed I could start a HHC whilst I'm waiting. 7pm until 730pm. Oh joy - my enthusiasm must surely be infectious!
On a good note - DH has done the after school activies run. DD is performing in the school open evening for current year 6s. Time flies - it doesn't seem a minute since she was at her open evening. She's in orchestrea and badminton displays tonight. Two separate uniforms and each playing twice so she's gone in her PE stuff, then it's orchestra, then PE and finally orchestra. Let's hope she doesn't start playing badminton with the glochenspiel! I took her in earlier and she just ran off with all her friends - my little baby is all growed up!:)
Right, HHC xx0 -
I know exactly what you mean Mudbath! I am in the same situation - my DD1 is doing the open evening tomorrow - she only gave me the permission slip to sign tonight!Donna
Economy; careful management; providence. Whether you call it thrifty or frugality it all comes down to getting more for your money.0 -

I've given the bathroom an s/s. Now to s/s the downstairs bathroom.I know exactly what you mean Mudbath! I am in the same situation - my DD1 is doing the open evening tomorrow - she only gave me the permission slip to sign tonight!
On the one hand I'm so proud but then I think off all the extra travelling, :rotfl:. They can't win! Good luck for your daughter tomorrow!0 -
Kids all decluttered to various clubs, need to leave in 10 to lift them again. At least i got the car fed while they were away. :rotfl:
I think when i get back i'm heading right to bed. Nite all.xxSometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Evening all
Not stopped all day but I have got loads done:D Did what I wanted to in the garden but of course there is more to do another day. Planted up some lovely mini pansies which are purple and orange from the little nursery. One odd thing - must have been majorly 'damp' because ALL my windows were covered in condensation this morning - even my bedroom window - yet that was OPEN all night...so they have all been opened, wiped if necessary and I have the back door open too, in an attempt to 'dry' the house out. The family who lived here before used a dehumidifier - until last night I have always solved the (usually minor) condensation problem by ventilating...
Exactly the same happened here. Only family room/kitchen windows dry and that where the AGA is but also where the washing is dried.Penelope_Penguin wrote: »Any chance of a pic pleaseI often take them without the head, for reasons of privacy
Once it's complete I'll put one on my facebookMiss H - apple cake recipe please! I still have hundreds of cooking apples to process.
Have you tried German Apple cake it uses loads of apples in one go and it very popular in this house.
Hex - great news about itunes. DS3 has been told about your DS and keeps asking about what happened;)
