  • Ok, livingroom done, had a lovely lunch with DH (one of the benefits of having the shop below our flat) just finishing a coffee and about to start on the stairs and the paintwork. If I'm feeling very energetic I'll stretch the definition of stairs to the close stairs as well, but we'll see. Back soon.

Afternoon all, just put the computer on so not caught up yet. Hope everyone's OK.

I got two loads of washing dry today, all put away, which included my bedding. Cleaned all the bedrooms and the landing. Cut the back grass and swept up.

    Toots
, yes it's Cribbs Causeway, Bristol.

Today we've been to a couple of garden centres and had a pub lunch (ham egg and chips, two for £8.99).

I no longer need to be ashamed of the kitchen. Lots of weeding in the front garden plus a bit of pruning means the front garden is much tidier. I also cleaned out the chickens, after a patchy weeks eggs we have had 7 eggs from 7 hens, 3 of which look like double yokers.

DS1 and I have made coconut macaroons, and DS2 and I have made his weekly chocolate cake.

I e-mailed itunes last night to complain about a gambling/slot machine game being down as a 4+, and to object to the £36 DS1 racked up in charges for buying coins that he hasn't actually used. Full points to them they have agreed a refund which is both impressive customer service and a relief. I do mind wasting money.

Running out of steam now - need to do a bit of ironing and get a bit more of the DR done. HHC at 5pm anyone? Need to finish my cup of tea first.

Suprise, suprise still no sign of the car/laptop collection .

Miss H - the cake recipe looks lovely - but I dread to imagine the cost if you followed the specified ingredients. I will have a go with my Maran eggs, and value yoghurt....
