Bump bump
How's everyone getting on?
I got really frustrated this week as thought I'd had a good week then got weighed at WW and had put 1/2 lb on. I know it's not a huge amount but it really annoyed me! So instead of getting back on it and thinking 'right this week I am going to lose that 1/2lb and some more besides' like I should have done, I have been a lot more relaxed than I should have been and whilst my meals have been (relatively) ok, I have eaten my body weight in chocolate... :EasterBun
I also need to up my exercise quota as I have not done anything for weeks so I am really going to try and do my Davina dvd three times a week, as well as some toning exercises I saw in a magazine I bought.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
I'm not weighing myself, it's too depressing.
I need to get some exercise, i'm just having trouble finding the time
I need to eat less junk, but i'm missing the will power.
What i really need is someone following me around slapping me everytime i eat and shooing me along to move faster!saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.

LOL, that sounds like a good idea for a business!
I'm not really doing too well, scared to weigh myself! I missed spinning class on Monday because I was all crampy and grumpy... and lazy... but I'm forcing myself to go tonight even though I really can't be bothered! I've been trying to eat healthy meals but then hit the biscuits after! It doesn't help that OH (who has zero body fat and actually enjoys going to the gym every day) keeps buying me treats, makes me eat them and then tells me off for not exercising! :mad:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I have similar issues, my h2b is rather fit, plays footy regularly and seems to be able to eat what he likes!
We have very healthy dinners, but at work, i'm stressed and i just munch! This morning I've had a pack of those go ahead crispy slices and a whole packet of polos. Not good! h2b made me a tuna salad sandwich for lunch and i'd inhaled that by 12.10!!saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.

Same here - it's not going well
I always seem to be hungry! and my OH eats quite a bit and is slim - it's just not fair!
I am really really lacking willpower - anyone got any tips? other than feeling huge on the day, obviouslyBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I don't really know SF! I'm joining up at the gym tonight before my dreaded spinning class and I'm hoping the fact that it's costing me £30 a month, that I don't really have spare, will be incentive enough for me to go! That and the fact that it's so cold at home because we can't get the heating to come on that I'll want to exercise so I get warm!
OH just said, not very helpfully, 'We've paid enough b****y money for the wedding, you should really be trying your hardest to look your best for it!' I wouldn't have to try so hard if he didn't keep feeding me rubbish! I understand his frstration because I've put about a stone on since we booked the wedding and I picked out my dress and I just keep moaning and not really doing anything, but I wish he was more supportive and encouraged me to eat healthily all the time rather than saying, 'Lets have a pizza and a bottle of wine' on a Saturday night and just frowning at me whenever I admit to having a 'lazy' night because I've been tired from work!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I'd be fuming if my OH said that to me! I've just been to look at the local health centre thingy, and it's £25 a month for everything - but you have to pay for a year all in one go, which seems like a lot of money. I just can't decide.. but I need to do something!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

My OH is a fan of the 'Tough Love' so I'm used to it but I was pretty cross that he said it! Especially as I'm all hormonal and cranky today too! I know that he means well and he just wants me to feel good when we're away but he needs to go about encouraging me in a nicer way!LaurensMummy wrote: »Me too! been going to weight watchers so far I've lost 1st 3.5lb in 8 weeks - so quite happy, just got another 5lb to get to goal, just hope I can keep it off until next year:)

Well done on the loss! I wonder if I could lose that much in 8 weeks...???

Twilrypinky...if you find that slapping person send them my way! I'm on a real downer at the moment...want to lose weight but cant seem to get motivated to do a thing and am dealing with work stress by binging on junk food. Even knowing I have my visit to Linda in less than 2 weeks isn't doing the trick yet
I have toned up a bit as I'm fitting in some things better but it's only a token nod in the right direction. I go buy petrol and if the pay at pump isnt working I come out with a bar of chocolate from the shop (actually I don't...it's usually half eaten before I've got back to the car!!) Seriously need a kick up the backside right now!
