My friend managed to get carpet adhesive (glue) on the clothes when she washed them. Any ideas on how to get it off please???There is no need to run outside

It may also be worth having a go using WD40 as it is good at removing sicky residues. The item would have to be washed thoroughly afterwards as it is quiet oily based.......but if it's either that or throwing them away, it's probably worth trying.

I do know that dry cleaners can remove glue from clothes - unsure how, whether they use a different process and whether this costs more than normal dry cleaning. There's no woman sicker than the woman who is sick on her day off !0

I hope someone can help, I've managed to get glue - the sort that holds the label onto a bottle of water, onto a nice new fleecy top. I've tried washing it, but no joy. What do I use that may dissolve the glue?
Thanks in advance0 -
Not sure if it'll work but ice cubes work with chewing gum. Best of luck
You ruber the ice cubes against the chewing gum and it breaks up.
Otherwise I think the small bottles of stain remove have one which includes glue. Not OS but nether is throwing the top away.0
