    Hi Jackie,

I have had success with getting sticky stuff off clothes with WD 40....maybe worth a try if you have some in.

Also this older thread might help: Removal of super glue?

The sticky stuff remover from Lakeland is great - I'm using it just now to remove floor tile glue from my kitchen floor - so glue from clothes will be a doodle.

It only costs 3 pound oddish for a bottle, and will last you forever.

The idea of WD40 scares me, but I do have some, I'm sure I can get to Solihul to get to Lakeland on Friday though, so that may be the answer.

Thanks for all your help though

I have used badge glue to put my sons badges on his cub uniform. This works very successfully.
However, he neglected to tell me that one of the badges was only temporary and needs to come off at the end of the year!
I have managed to get the badge of but traces of the glue are left on the uniform.
I have tried everything I can think of to remove the glue but with not much luck.

Any suggestions as to how to remove the glue left on the uniform?

I hope this is on the right board but didn't know quite where it should go.

    Thankyou

Badge glue has always worked well - too well for me on temporary badges, and been lousey on the permanent ones :(

As a Cub Scout leader I never worried too much if a temporary badge became a permanent one (although I should have.....)

  • Hi - sorry if this is not the right board, but I'm in need of some help please!
I bought a silk scarf for my brother off of ebay, but when it arrived it must have had a sticky label on it as there is a square patch of glue on the corner, has anyone any idea how I can get rid of it?
