I use nail varnish remover on some items of fabric, grease proof and an iron on some or just pick it off if it is hard.
I use superglue alot in my extension business and im forever sticking my fingers together0 -
Thanks Anacasta, what do you think will be best for t-shirt fabric, as I dont want to make a hole by picking the glue off?0

i'd do a small test somewhere unnoticable with nail varnish remover and then if it doesnt fade the fabric, try it on the big splodge0

There's actually a purpose made superglue solvent that you should be able to find at any hardware store. Some chemists too.

You're welcome.
If you use the solvent remember to do a test on an inner seam somewhere out of sight to make sure it doesn't affect colours etc.

Typical!
First day back at school and dopey daughter sat in glue
Black trousers + white pritt-stick type glue = problem! I've washed em on a cool wash and it's still there.
Anyone have a pain-free solution
(and Squeaky - I've done a search AND looked in the mega-indexed thread thingy)

If you have any household cleaner that has oil of orange in it then you could try that - it may dissolve the glue.
Failing that - then a Stain Devil for glue."This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA
Preemie hats - 2.0 -
Tried the orange stuff Elona, thanks, but unfortunately it didn't work. Nail varnish remover did the trick in the endMink0

So instead of saying "check the "whatever" Index" I point to it thoroughly to help other readers of the thread out
There are glue removing tips in the MEGA Index. None directly relating to pritt sticks, as I recall, but what the heck - there might have been something there to helpHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
