  • Hello all!

    Happy Saturday! :j

Second viewing on house at 2pm.......... they NEEEED to buy our house!!! Sorry for banging on about it, but I feel it's probably our last chance for a sale this year. I've cleaned and tidied and that's as much as I can do.

Ex is doing the viewing as I am away for the next 2 days (leaving shortly), so I hope she turns on what little charm she has (oooh saucer of milk for table 2???) LOL ;).

Another AFD for me please Shaggy! :T

I am doing very well on the AFDs this month, compared to the last few months, so I am very pleased with myself.

I will be having a drinkie tonight with my friend........erm, OK, I confess.........I am going away for a dirty weekend, eeeeeeeee! ;):D :T. Can't wait!

Back to reality on Monday, but this weekend is for me for a change. I'm single and have decided to start living my life and not apologising for it, LOL! (But I am really nervous too.........)

It's a good thing you won't be able to see me on Monday, just in case I am walking like John Wayne, ha haaaaaaaaa! (Sorry, TMI).

Anyway, on that note, I need to shower and get ready.

Hugs to all and have a great weekend.

  • Morning all,

Lovely sunny day here. Hardly slept at all last night being AF but still got the good unhungovered feeling this morning. I'm up for an AF night tonight so will join Jo and Miss P. No doubt I'll change my mind later but I'll have to fight that when it comes.

Thanks for your post Jeffgeorge. I also like the "turn up for life" saying.

I'm playing at another wedding this afternoon so that should be nice.

Hope you all have a good day and see you later on.

    DB x
  • Morning all, I`m loving this new thread, I feel so priveliged to be a part of it. I confess I was not AF last night, I had a bottle red as I had had an absolute **** of a day everything that could go wrong did go wrong and I needed to seriously un-tense my mind. Do you know the more AF days I have the worse alchohol tastes when I do have some. I used to think it tasted like the most wonderful thing in the world, but it actually tastes quite rank. Anyway I feel completerly positive this morning and have no intentions of drinking alchohol for a long time as I havent any social events coming up until the end of next month. GOOD LUCK FOR THE WEEKEND EVERYBODY, STAY POSITIVE AND RELISH HOW GOOD YOU FEEL WHEN THERE IS NO ALCOHOL IN YOUR SYSTEM. 19 AF DAYS FOR ME PLEASE SHAGGY

    What do you play DB?

Caz, good luck with the viewing and the drinkie ;)

HB, enjoy the shopping trip :)

Jo is not having a very good day. Planning all sorts of yumminess for tonight and went to purse to see how much I had left of the £50 that OH gave me on Thursday evening and I have a grand total of £1.69 :( Don't even ask me what I spent it on, apart from a shed-load of stella last night.

So, something yummy is unlikely as fridge and freezer is bare :(

But then, I had a revelation!!!! I still have gift cards left from when I left my old job back in March. Next and M&S, I can never find anything in there to spend them on, been in there numerous times. Went to Marks a couple of weeks ago and ended up buying the kids a load of uniform, lunch in the cafe and then picked up dinner in the food hall. I think I've still got about £20 left. So I am going to jump on the bus (save on parking ;)) and go to Marks and buy something totally yummy for dinner and AMAZINGLY yummy for dessert

I have no money for alcohol, even if I wanted it, so that's that decision made then

Oh crap, just found £5 in my coat pocket, usually this would be a good thing. God please give me the strength to not buy beer. Can't face it at the moment, but once I've eaten my marks lunch it will change.

By the way, just cos I started this thread, doesn't mean its my diary you know...you can all contribute :P

  • Jo, use the £5 for the bus - enjoy spending the vouchers though. M&S food is lovely.

Afternoon all, was up far too early to drop DS into town. Luckily I escaped without a headache from last night. I'm off to a birthday party later -probably won't be AF but I want to see if I can do 2 glasses again and then stick to tea (its round my best friend's house so she won't mind me taking over her kitchen).

Hope everyone gets on ok today, Pen x
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x
