Afternoon all, well I failed miserably to restrain myself last night in the face of the three bottles of wine DH brought home and drank my usual quota
I am so hopeless, once DS is napping this afternoon I am going to ring my local substance abuse helpline and see if i can sort myself out once and for all, feeling really annoyed with myself especially as I am supposed to be dieting and after the wine I ate chips and dips and then some indian starter bits  I am a fat alcoholic
Jo hope you are ok hun x
Sim hope you are ok too x0 -
Hi SSG, I was thinking of you only this week (Jo was dissing porridge and I thought our Scots friends won't like that and told her so!). Glad to hear you've been managing OK and welcome back! Pen's being an absolute star with the weekly challenges, they help me enormously.
Shopaholictiedtheknot (what a mouthful:D), I think you're very wise to take some professional advice. Let us know what they have to say and we'll help if we can.0 -
Afternoon all,
Well I am still ill. It's really getting on my wick now - I want to feel ok again. I went to the docs yesterday and it appears that I have a virus which I am not gettin over very well, so I am signed off for the week.
I wouldn't be surprised if my part time job fires me soon, LOL. Been there 6 weeks and already having a week off on the sick - oh dear. Never mind. I am actually looking for another job closer to my house and which I might even like - now there's a thought!
Not been so good on the alcohol front, as I've "hot toddied" myself silly over the last few days, which of course must be counter-productive, but it felt lovely at the time, I have to admit.
Going to have an AF day today and cook myself a hot spicy curry.
Hugs

6th AF day for me today.
I feel a bit fed up with everything at the moment. I might ask DH to bring me home some chippy chips. Mind you I got on the scales today and they weren't friendly to me.:DHOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

Hi al
11 AFDs for me please, Shaggy
And I've done Monday and Tuesday AF, Pen.
Have a good Wednesday evening everybody - good luck and (()) to all who need them.
I feel very well at the moment - if only I could remember how great I feel without wine on Saturday nights when the bells start clanging ...

Today I am being nice to myself, my body and my wallet
Still glued to the TV watching the miners coming out, bless them. Perhaps its doing me good thinking about somebody elses problems for a change
Have a lovely evening all, and sending virtual earplugs to anyone hearing bells xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

I've been watching little bits of it at work. It's so lovely to have a happy news story, really heart-warming
Hope everyone's Wednesday is going well. Although I thought it was Thursday earlier which was disappointing!
Will pop in later tonight to see how you all are0 -

What a fricking night. My son has developed a serious bad attitude. Couple that with a Mum who is knackered and feeling low and only fireworks can follow. He has finally accepted his punishment of going to his room after a half hour battle of wills. Jeez. I'm in serious need of a ....... bottle of wine!
Don't worry it isn't going to happen but my god pushed to the limit isn't the word.
