  • Sending you a cyber hug 365. Well done for resisting the wine :T

Hopefully things will calm down a bit tonight and look a bit sunnier in the morning for you.

Afternoon all, well I failed miserably to restrain myself last night in the face of the three bottles of wine DH brought home and drank my usual quota :o I am so hopeless, once DS is napping this afternoon I am going to ring my local substance abuse helpline and see if i can sort myself out once and for all, feeling really annoyed with myself especially as I am supposed to be dieting and after the wine I ate chips and dips and then some indian starter bits  I am a fat alcoholic :o

Jo hope you are ok hun x

Sim hope you are ok too x

I always tried moderation and usually failed too
At least that I know as an alcoholic that I cannot drink at all. It certainly makes it easier when I know my limit is zero.

You're not hopeless, just alcoholic. There is a world of difference.

  • Right I have spectacularly failed the 2 day thing it being the case that I got a half bottle of vodka on the way home from work tonight. we are currently closing at 2100 which is frankly not very helpful.

What the f is wrong with me?

Tomorrow I have to be at work till ten, which means I can't buy any drink on the way home, but who knows how that will pan out?

Maybe I will slip out before 10 I just do not know.

    Right now I feel lost.

    Alone.

    F***ked

    Whatever

    SSG

    XX

    BUT

I will be OK one way or another and I really believe that...

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
