Morning all
Not a good day here. Just heard that my friend (who I think I've mentioned before - has a brain tumour) died yesterday. Feeling very sad. Hadn't seen her for months - saw her few months before christmas. She collapsed and was taken into hospital on Christmas Day so I guess we were all thinking this would be the outcome.
She has a 6 year old daughter who is just like her mum:) - very forthright and older than her years. My friend was very determined to be there until she went to school. So she's done that, and more so I know she would be very happy that she has achieved what she set out to do.
Just very sad. And makes you appreciate your own family and circumstances even more.
Miss P

:rotfl:what a gorgeous sunny morning it is down here in the south-east it bought tears to my eyes this morning when walking the dog. The sun was a big yellow fire ball rising and the mist was hanging over the fields like whisps of candy floss, it was GORGEOUS !

That is such sad news Miss P - it is so tragic when children lose a parent, I hope that the rest of her family can all be strong for each other. Take care yourself.
Here all is good, no alcohol so far this month. I am out at a friend's house tonight, so I will be offered, but I am planning on driving so I will only have one.Trying to keep in budget.

Sorry for your sad news Miss P - I lost my own mum at a young age so I really feel for the family xxx
Am feeling very positive today - planning a trip to the gym once the boys are in bed which should keep me on track for another AF day - real test will be later this week when pressure is really on at work not to crumble and "treat" myself -although I can see a good improvement in my skin already as although I didnt have many AF days in Jan i did really try to cut down the no of units.
Have also being watching what I eat this week so will be interesting when I get to friday to see the impact of hopefully some more AF days and a healthy diet...............will keep you posted............CC debt Aug 2018 £50.2K
