Declaring early AF for tonight. I have been out to dinner and didn't have a drink so now heading to my room to have a cup of tea. I am glad to fly back home tomorrow, getting very tired.

Meant to say 13 please Shaggy and challenge completed with 5 please Pen

  • 4 for me please Shaggy

4 for the Mon-Thurs please Pen:jYippee!!! I am very easily pleased...

Well done to everyone on their AF's and also on losing the pounds and cycling marathons around the living room, I am very impressed....feeling a bit slack at only achieving 4 so far this month but also feeling inspiration from you guys.

I cracked open a bottle of grape juice earlier and I must say it's doing the trick and I'm not hearing any bells ringing now.

Thanks again to Shaggy and Pen for your tremendous efforts and for helping keep us on the sraight and narrow.:T:T:T

Have a feeling Friday and Saturday will be a change of story for me as I have plans with friends who will look at me like I have grown an extra nose if I say I am off the wine altogether :rotfl::rotfl:so, slowly does it!

Hope you're all keeping well tonight and looking forward to the weekend.

  • Well, Pilates done and another night AF tonight.
It's getting more the norm to get home and reach for the kettle immediately instead of the fridge !! Feels good......:) :) Herbal tea seems to be 'doing it' for me at the moment- if I drink tea too late I stay awake, and drinking squash makes me cold !! (funny how wine didn't do the same).

Don't know about the weekend but was supposed to go to Devon but not going now cos of the car situation.... so going to have a weekend exercising and being healthy to aid with the weight loss.... if I have a couple of glasses- ok- if not- even better !!
Everyone seems all upbeat and happy so that's all good..... Almost the weekend people !!

    Well done to everyone.. !!

10AF please Shaggy and 4 this week Pen, thanks.

    ;)

Cazza - glad you are having such a good time at your parents

Lotti - well done on getting into double figures!:T

No urges on the alcohol front here today. Weekend starts tomorrow night though. Fingers crossed the bells don't ring!

    xx

Glad you're OK MissP, wondered where you'd been all day (hoped the cycling hadn't finished you off).

It's great to hear so many people sounding upbeat. I'm calling it for today as well. Actually I may have a very low alcohol (or possibly even AF) night tomorrow too. I'm planning to go and see 'The King's Speech' and although they do sell wine at the cinema (you can even take it to your seat) I won't be having any. It'll stop me starting early whatever happens.

    7AF for January Shaggy and

3 for the challenge please Pen.

Today is not an AF day.

It was going to be, I'm struggling with two assignments due in tomorrow, so am studying well into the night with coffee and water to keep me going...

But. I have just spend hours doing a long and laborious task involving soil maps only to look again at the provided documentation and the information I was trying to get from the maps was already given in a nice easy table. And now I've gone and interpreted my way, and wasted hours in the process, and it all has to be changed.

Not a happy Lotti. And yes, turning to a glass of red wine to calm and console. :(
