PLEASE PUT YOUR AFDs IN A BOLD RED FONTWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Does anybody want to score October (yes we're there already!)?
I'm happy to do it, as I will be around next month - but I'm happy to pass the baton too.
Have a lovely day.Don't go!

YM, just wanted to reassure you that imho yoghourt is fine ages after the date, it's kind of premouldy and I'm someone who struggles to ignore use by dates in general. You'll be fine.
Thank god for thatYM - are you still with us?

Morning all
6 for me, please Shaggy
I've read through the last couple of days & the only thing I can offer is that I believe it's not sometimes what said, but the tone in which it appears to have been posted.
There is definitely a need for tough love as well as the nice gentle stuff. I personally have suffered some very harsh personal criticism for being all soft & fluffy & lovey-dovey & it was upsetting. I didn't let it stop me be that way, but I won't stop having tougher words if I think someone else is in need of them. However when anything comes across as judgemental & personally critical then it upsets a lot of people. There are ways of making a point or querying something wihout doing that & that leads to healthy debate, of which we've had a fair few.
In the specific that started this off (meeting in a pub) this was debated previously before anything was arranged. I said I didn't think meeting in one was a good idea, some people agreed some people didn't. And that was the end of it. I haven't mentioned it futher as I am grateful to Jo & Lurks for arranging the curry meet-up. Equally if I felt I didn't want to go in then I would meet at the curry place, & I'm fairly sure other people are capable of making that decision for themselves.
I would hate for anyone who finds this place a help to leave/stop posting/not express their opinions because of the last couple of days.
I hope you all have a good day

Hoping everyone OK today - ????
Gien I'm like you/many on here - I've been on this journey for a few years now and can identify with alot of whats been said and have been on the journeys with folk - I want to be open - I'm one who thinks the thread can do more by friendliness than confrontation.
If people feel passionately about things, that's great, but please remember alot of folk on here are teetering and can't necessarily take the confrontation, debate is healthy - no one likes to feel like they are getting a telling off or being judged or being silenced - we have to all remember where we were we started out on this journey and we're all different.
I'm more of a light and fluffy kinda gal. Can't see why we can't all get along.................? I save my own version of 'tough love' for PM, anyone wanting chat more with me specifically about anything please PM me.
And, no you've not got rid of me alhtough I'm not around alot in October due to holibubs (can't do the challenge) and work and definitely a curry!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
