I hope you're all good - if not have a hug - 99% AF in my life at the mo - the odd blip which thus far not been too horrible or often.

Missed you Fay, glad you're doing well.
You too HB, loving the shiny, clean, furry face!0 -
Morning :hello:
Another AFD in the bag so I'm on 10 AFDs. Off to update the chart.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Hi kids
Just wanted to say that I'm not completely AWOL. My head is a bit all over the place, as in my notion of ever being AF
However I can report regular gym attendance & excellent teeth-brushing & removing make-up before bed. So I guess some things are going ok.
Muchos love to you all
xx
I understand when you say the notion of being AF is hard/impossible
I thought that when I stopped drinking then ALL fun would disappear from life. I wouldn't be able to relax or enjoy birthday parties or weddings etc (not that I go to many). It was a thought I couldn't seriously consider.
That's the nature of the addiction in me. It tells me that I cannot live without a few drinks here and there.
I am not a bad person, but I have an very serious and life-threatening addiction. That means I am an ill person who is in the thrall of alcohol, something I have no power over. And when using alcohol, then I sometimes do bad things.
The turning point for me is when I realised I needed help with this illness, and then got it. If this thread is not working, try another method. This is too serious to hope it gets better. Many deadly illnesses get better only with treatment.
Be kind to yourself and take action!0 -

Good morning all
4 days completed on challenge please Pen!
4 for me please Shaggy!
 Hello Fay!
:grouphug: HB!
My word, I'm glad its Friday. Has felt like a very long week. Been feeling very tired and going to bed early. Hopefully will perk up over the weekend as have a few things going on. Think things lately have been getting me down which always makes me want to sleep the clock round. Looks like things are on the up a bit though - thank god!
Working 9-1 today. Bit of a rush getting to work for 9 instead of 10 but its nice to finish that hour earlier. Gives me a chance to come home and tidy up before Piglet finishes school and messes it all up again!:rotfl:
Better go and throw myself in the shower. Catch you all later!

Good morning all,
After a rough and windy night, it looks like there is more to come today. I'm off to the local tip later. I cleared out just one small bedroom yesterday and can't believe how much junk had accumulated. I removed several yards of uneccessary wire from under my desk computer alone.
Lots of books and stuff for the charity shop on the way.
The point I am comming to is that having a good clear out is a very effective therapy, constant decisions like shall I dump this or not keeps the head accupied and other, darker, thoughts just disappear.
Lots more to do, just wait 'til I get to my shed!
Anyway,
Pen, another weekly challenge completed so 4's please.
Shaggy, one more for November making 11 please.
Good luck and hugs to all of you facing difficulties at the moment, things can only get better.

Seriously, agree with you about the theraputic properties of having a sort out. Isn't Feng Shui just a posh name for tidying up!0 -
